Form clearly has importance but you also have to acknowledge that a change of management could well lead to a change in form. The change in management has clearly led to a change in effort and performance levels but that needs to be turned into resultsgolfaddick said:
But people on here keep saying that form means nothing.....because if it did then how we are going to win 3 or 4 away matches when we've only won one away so far this season & not won at all in 15 !fenaddick said:
Sort of but Bolton are stronger at home than away. Played 2 less away games but scored 13 less goals and have lost more away than home (albeit by 1 game). Cambridge home form is also very good, 8 wins there this season. For context we have 7 league wins all seasondickad1 said:Cambridge (loaded with ex CAFC) taking it to Bolton somewhat. Kaikai causing a lot of trouble and made the goal. Puts a little bit of perspective on last Saturday.2 -

Very much not safe. After tonight their next 5 games are against teams in the top half. And in their remaining games after that they still have Derby, Blackpool and Barnsley.Mike said:Cambridge are safe anyway4 -
Now losing.Mike said:Cambridge are safe anyway
5 points ahead of us with a game in hand. And we have to play them. If we are going to get another 15/16 points we could easy overtake them.
I think it goes all the way up to Exeter & Wigan.
Edit
Maybe not Wigan but certainly Exeter aren't out of it6 -
Still not won in 5 since Appleton got the bullet, 3 of these with Jones.fenaddick said:

Either way, if we go down Jones can be exempt of any blame imo.0 -

We were very much in intensive care for at least four of those. Green shoots of recovery in the last two. This was never going to be a quick fix, but from what I've seen of Jones , I think fix it he will.ElfsborgAddick said:

We really could have done with getting a draw at Reading 10 days ago.
With a game in hand over them we could have kept them in sight, although the way they are going they're finish mid table.0 -
Cambridge 1 Bolton 2 FT.0
-
Carlisle are gone.
Fleetwood nearly gone and if we finish below them we will have.
Port vale look very poor and I would be surprised if they dig themselves out of this.
Cheltenham, Charlton and Shrews for the other spot is my guess right now... But of course things change quickly.

Well done Taylor you made my night because Cambridge are not safe at all. Fucking prick5

Reading are a perfect example of what getting a win can do and stringing results together, forget about them they're gone, if it had to be a winner tonight rather them than PV7
