    Feels like this is where we need Coventry in the Midfield so that the ball isn't being wasted when we pump it forward.

    20 minutes in and with Bakinson instead of Coventry in midfield and May and Kanu up front, we're once again struggling to play through the midfield and the ball isn't sticking when it goes forward.

    Lots of industry but we need to get a hold of the ball at some point.

    Unlucky Karoy, does well to battle and win the ball midway in their half, but cant catch up with it, and goes for their throw

    I fairness, Pompey look, and are playing, better than Bolton.

    Bakinson is just a place holder until Camara can come on. Likewise the front two until Aneke can. To be fair to May and Kanu they are pressing well and have linked up a couple of times.

    Alright, just trying to keep things a little light hearted. But he hasn’t. It was a bit of a running joke early season and then he got dropped/injured so he hasn’t made that many saves this season. 
    Isted  24 Saves/8 games  3 per game (conceded 11 - 1.37 per game)
    AMB 80/24 3.33 per game (conceded 41 - 1.7 per game) 

    Fewer saves per game, fewer goals conceded too.

    Bakinson has a happy knack of always being in the wrong place. He’s another one who, sadly, might have peaked on his debut.

    Still, overall this hasn’t been too bad so far. They’re better than us but we’re competing and it’s not making it easy for Pompey.
