The timings suggest a possibility.

I'd very much like Chelsea to appoint a manager I don't like.
Then I won't feel guilty about wishing absolute shit upon them1 -
Got the impression that Poch wanted to leave due to lack of control opposed to him being sacked.
I could see De Zerbi being a disaster there though. Too many egos there1 -
Kieran McKenna, has not only been named League Manager's Association Championship Manager of the Season, he's also pipped Pep Guardiola to the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy for the overall LMA Manager of the Season award.

Seems like this is going to happen. Surprised he won’t be staying to see if he can continue the progress with Ipswich but maybe he sees a more secure Premier League job that can get in the top half. Bad news for the tractor boys though.Callumcafc said:McKenna the early favourite to jump ship from Ipswich.2 -
How do you get relegated with Burnley and then become favourite for the Bayern Munich job?! I know they're struggling to find a manager but if you're going for Kompany you might as well have kept Tuchel.5

Maybe they missed out on their number one target and two's Kompany.Chris_from_Sidcup said:How do you get relegated with Burnley and then become favourite for the Bayern Munich job?! I know they're struggling to find a manager but if you're going for Kompany you might as well have kept Tuchel.

"However Bellamy is reportedly being considered as Kompany's replacement by Burnley, a move that would see him step up to become a head coach for the first time."

It's so difficult to have any sort of stability at a smaller club, as anytime a manager does a half decent job they jump shipMarcusH26 said:0 -
Is getting a team relegated classed as half decent these days?killerandflash said:

When he took over after 10 games, they had one point and had scored ZERO goals, and were a basket case. To end up relegated by just 2 points was a great achievement.Todds_right_hook said:

Think with the amount of key players they're losing too I can completely understand Clarke leaving and taking a chance on being able to get something out of a Barnsley side that never seems to quite be able to get over the line.
He did a brilliant job to get Cheltenham even close to staying up.0 -

Barcelona have sacked manager Xavi with former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick set to replace him.
Xavi will take charge of Barcelona for the final time on Sunday, when they host Sevilla in their last La Liga match of the season.
The 44-year-old, who had been contracted until 2025, was informed of the club's decision during a meeting with club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco on Friday.

Was never going to end well when he came out last week and said that in their current predicament they'd struggle to compete with Madrid. He was of course only speaking the truth and everyone knows their situation, but making your owners look stupid is never the best move.clive said:Barcelona have sacked manager Xavi with former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick set to replace him.

Can't remember a summer where so many big clubs changed manager.
Barcelona, Bayern, AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Liverpool, Chelsea, and still possibly Man U as well.

The classic case of somebody being sacked after a really good season fizzled out, whereas if Barrow had finished really strongly to finish where they did, he would still have a job!shirty5 said:0 -
