I had a cocktail there when there was a reduced or two for one offer.
Speaking purely personally I didn’t like the taste of it or enjoy it at all.
However plenty of people seem to like it.
I am used to being in a minority when it comes to food and drink.
  • I don’t understand why anyone would try & sell cocktails to mainly older men.

You may as well go to an 18-21s bar full of “girls” and set up a bar selling pints of bitter.
We sell out quite a lot, and you’d be surprised a HUGE percentage of my customers aren’t 18-21 females but blokes of all ages.

I invite you to try one on the 17th. People were screaming out for different selections in the catering so here I am.

I’ve often sat near & sales are slower than a slow slug. Sorry Larry.
    Well someone's lying.......

May have been to sweet - you may prefer something a bit more bitter

Well wouldn’t make much business sense to make no sales and come back every week, and be invited to sell at premium events like player of the year. Plus I pay CAFC a commission every week, so if I wasn’t doing much they wouldn’t have me back either

Sorry you didn’t like the taste of the particular one you had. Every cocktail is different, come back on the 17th and I’ll be happy to talk you through different flavours etc

We are very happy @LarrysMobileBar customers and none of our party are 21 year old girls!

I find, post Charlton’s latest debacle, the quickest way to ingest alcohol is in the form of a couple of Larry’s cocktails.

Could I have all 10 cocktails in one big anonymous container without a lid to take to my seat please?

So, do we reckon this fella is actually called "Larry" or it's a nickname? (Eg his surname is Lamb).

Was just thinking that you dont hear of many Larry's these days.

I’m not a lover of cocktails personally, but I know plenty who enjoy them before and after a game.

You’ve got a business going, it’s going well, you’ve won awards, and I wish you all the success this season and beyond mate.

    Portsmouth Friendly information

Bartram's will be opening its doors to supporters from 12.30pm, but will not be open after the game. The Meantime Fans' Bar will not be open this weekend.

Wonder if the fan zone will be open? Bringing a 5yr old to his first ever game and don't want him bored out of his brain before we even get to our seats ! Need to plan for food too ie no fans bar or fan zone means no real food.

Yeah I read that before asking, doesn't have any of the info there. Tbh it's a bit shit how non bothered any of this is, could have used it as a follow up to the open day. Made a call and there's a few burger vans and some of the kiosks will be open, kinda wish we were not bothering and waited another year to do a proper game.

Do you do a negroni and how much on the day?
  • Surely they could have opened up one section of Crossbars /1 bar .

It's going to be a steamy, hot day and fans will want drinks without standing around in the full sun....West Stand concourse not ideal.

Think they've shot themselves in the foot over this.

Not the best way to welcome fans to The Valley IMO.

The new owners put up or more likely approve spending millions effectively to turn things around and somebody puts up the closed/you’re not welcome sign…only at Charlton

I'd have thought it makes more sense to only open crossbars, if it could only be 1, much more space.
