Can someone explain what Foden has done to still be on the pitch?

Incredibly bad once again. Feel sorry for whatever club ends up with Southgate once he steps down

Did you not see half-time? He's the best player on the pitch.

There really seems a reluctance to shoot from distance this tournament, dont recall too many goals beyond the box, apart from Denmark vs us

The ball seems very light, every shot balloons over the bar

We’re back in the old England trap of just trying to pick all our best individuals and not thinking enough about balance and how it all fits together. To be fair, up until this tournament Southgate wasn’t bad for that, but he didn’t have both Bellingham and Foden wanting the same roles after such good seasons.

Kane doesn't do much does he
When you need a goal though, he’s still the most likely person to pop up in hr right place at the right time.

England aren’t exactly getting him the ball early so he’s usually got three players in him by the time we get within 40 yards of goal.

We do need a Gordon or Watkins out there to try and stretch things and hit the forward pass a lot earlier.
It's no different to what Portugal did with Ronaldo in my opinion

Looked like it hit Bellingham last, good call from the referee

There were a few belters in the group stages but it’s died down.

It’s the tournament of the low block so space has been at a premium for most of the attacks, it’s not been just England whose talented players have struggled to really impact the tournament.

More even game this half. Southgate should be looking to make changes, but I doubt he is

Because of the comback of last game, I'm scared Southgate will be too scared to sub off underperforming stars.

Our support has been so sanitised we ain't even got the odd ruck kicking off in the crowd to take your mind off the shit going on on the pitch.

Sums up England when Kane is winning the challenge on the edge of his own box. Fucking disgraceful football

Harry Kane with his first meaningful touch and possession in the penalty area this match ...

... defending against a Swiss attack.

    Sums it up.

    Dire.

Switzerland starting to commit forwards a little more. Now is the time to get some more pace and running into the front line and increase our ability on the break. Gordon and Watkins on for Kane and Foden.

Perfect crossing position and Kane is nowhere to be seen in the box

We had one attacking threat in the first half, Saka, and the Swiss have now sorted that, so we need a plan B.

Bellingham lucky in a way not to get booked with that "high" foot

Easy to double up when the opposite wing has zero threat.
