    Well done Harry Kane. Scoring that penalty when it looked touch and go as to whether or not he would need his foot amputated was a recovery only Lazarus could have contemplated.

    Studs up challenge anywhere on the pitch is a free kick and a yellow card. Why any different if it’s in the area?

    50/50 for me. Can see both sides of why it would or wouldn’t be given but wouldn’t expect either decision to be overturned

    you can't be kicking other players in the penalty area. soft. but he made contact without getting the ball - if it was on the centre circle its gven 10/10 times

    we are always saying that fouls outside the area get given loads that wouldn't in the area - on this occasion it has

    I hate VAR. Take it but never a penalty for me. Studs up challenge? Isn’t he allowed to go for the ball and if Kane hadn’t have followed through and kicked him his boot would have planted in the turf.

    Well this is my thought. Most fouls are mistimed things just like that.

    I can see both sides, but I really don’t think it was that bad a decision - and feel the Dutch players reaction shows that.

    Just because Kane got a shot off doesn’t mean it’s not a foul. Anywhere else on the pitch and it’s a clear cut free kick to England.

    Thats why as a Defender you have to time your challenge perfectly... No?
