The reason Scotland and Wales do not want Team GB is they fear it will lead to calls for the individuals nations to lose their teams and for us to have just one Team GB and NI side0
-
They’ve been unreal first half away at France. One best I’ve seen them play.1
-
Good game so far, though second half a bit scrappy.0
-
Thought Russo had her best game in a long while.
Also really like Hampton in goal.0 -
That Hampton save at 2-1 was exceptional0
-
Hampton's distribution was excellent all game, glad she showed what she could do with that save. That win gets us back on track though a win against Sweden would be good. Best of all, great to watch with my girls (and much to my wife's chagrin we'll be watching the men's euros as well)3

England needing to avoid defeat away in Sweden to qualify for Euro2025, currently 0-0 an hour in.0
-
So far so good, even if there haven't been any chances. Our goalie has spilled a few this half

Yep Hampton looks a bit shaky, very lucky with that shot.
Shows the value of Earps normally!3 - Sponsored links:

Disappointing game to watch but we achieved the draw and qualify.

Rode their luck, but job done!
Get to see if we can defend the title in Switzerland.

Yeah, job done. Think some of the players who played against Ireland were unlucky to miss out, like Greenwood and Parks2
-
We seem to want to walk the ball into the net at the moment. Mead needs games and when she is at her best she makes a difference. Much prefer Earps to Hampton in goal.1

Seems like England have gone backwards over the last two years, so many basic errors and an error-prone replacement for Mary Earps. We still qualified though and we still have the best women’s coach so there is always hope!0

Parks is a talented young midfielder who can run with the ball which compliments Walsh who is a good passer of the ball but rather static.

Hampton did look shaky tonight but she did the save against France at the end which sealed the victory.0 -
Hampton has great distribution, but this wasn't her best game0
-
Odd scheduling. Why are the Women's qualifiers being played deep into summer, couldn't they have been played before the men's Euros or at the start of next season?0

Interesting that Wiegman gets no / minimal criticism for a pretty difficult qualifying campaign compared to the vitriol unfairly levelled at Southgate. Just to be clear, I think the lack of criticism is appropriate and the “right” way to behave.1

Long may that continue.4 -

Wiegman gets less criticism because she has won something IMO. I think the women's game in this country is going through a transitional stage. It will come out of it stronger but it is at the point where it has gone slightly backwards. I don't blame the manager for this. Also, Mead and Williamson, who are big players for us are at a stage where they have to find their form back. They were rubbish yesterday IMO but that is understandable and I'm sure that will come back come the Euros.5

She was a blundering liability under any sort of high ball. Butter fingers wasn't in it and that was even if she hadn't crashed into a colleague on the way
Mary Earps tenure as England's No.1 not under any serious threat0 -
Mead seems to have lost a yard of pace since her ACL injury.0
