And of course they speak about JRS being nowhere and he scores13
-
Had to be him!1
-
1-1 FU*K IT...not deserved...and JRS...😫2
-
Great equaliser.2
-
Basically counts as our goal if JRS scored it17
-
Quality play from JRS, out of nowhere really.0
-
Jones is a weak link at the back in his ball retention3
-
Absolutely sat our two centre backs down, get him back in on loan2
-
Good goal in fairness and shows the level JRS is at.

FT 1-1, should have been a win...1
-
Finished 1-1. Unlucky not to win that1

Quite happy that we're disappointed with a 1-1 scoreline.
We deserved better than that... It might have been their first game of the season, but a Premier League team have just created diddly squat against us, whilst we could have had a couple more. Optimistic for the season on that showing, so just need the 5-0 defeat at Wigan to bring me back down to earth
Portsmouth will be the best test, not just because its a week before the opener, but because we'll both be in the same position with our Pre-Seasons15 -
Sorry that once again no clean sheet.
But that first 60mins team looked good. The subs who came on at 60mins have a thankless task in away.
Overall a good game for us.0 -
Hopefully next weekend we rotate again and see the players that haven't featured today
Mannion, Berry, Ahadme and Godden must be dead certs to start, unless injured0 -
Overall it sounds like a really good performance.
Not that I am expecting it in pre-season or against Palace, but I would love us to start getting some clean sheets. Try and build that habit into what we do.12 -
A work out to give us a bit of hope.
Another good pre season week I would say.1 -
Conceding late goals against small clubs still seems to be an issue then50
-
Even at different stages of pre season, a good test.
not too fussed at this stage about the clean sheet aspect as the teams changing not just during the games but friendly to friendly2 -
In previous season, I'm sure there would have been more of a "first 11" and "back up 11" feel to the squad by this stage, where the "first 11" playing the first 60 today, and the "back up 11" playing the first 60 against weaker opposition midweek.
As it is, we have 8 days before the next game, which seems a long time, especially for those who didn't play today or only had 30 minutes.0 -

Only Mitchell and Small look definite starters to me on the basis of the friendlies.1

Good to have conceded at the end. A 1-0 win against them would have been nice but 1-1 is a better indicator and reminder for everyone we are on the right track but not there yet for the start of the season. Sporting gesture by the lads to let JRS get the goal and glory for his team was a nice touch.

How did Edwards play?0

Showmetheway2gohome said:I thought Ramsey Bishop Mitchell’ and Tailor best performances. Think jones might have snagged something playing Campbell up front and pleased for chucks with a great goal.
I would sooner Potts than that Derby defender everyone keeps on about Bradley something or other. Good performance I thought although our players definitely had the fitness edge starting training a week earlier.Bit concerned the 2 new strikers no show already.4 -
Thought Ramsey was the best player on the pitch for us this afternoon9

that first 60 mins team looked comfortable defensively. On that basis it’s a half a clean sheet since 9 changes were then made0 -
Brown was raving about Ramsay in the first half, both defensively and with how he carried the ball forward.7
