    ++ BRONZE MEDAL ++

Kimberley Woods in the Women's Kayak Singles - Sounds like its again because of someone else making a mistake, but we'll take it
It was. The German screwed up when looking good for the gold in the final run. Kunz. (Penalized 50 points to finish 11th)
Her name is Funk, not Kunz :D
Of course it is. What was I thinking 🤔 Even more apt as she was certainly in a blue one after making that mistake.

Is Discovery worth getting for the Olympics? Bbc coverage seems very limited so far
I forgot I had discovery + with sky.
As someone mentioned above you can get discovery+ for £3.99 for the month .
    Bbc coverage is pony.

Doesn’t the tennis stadium / court look unimpressive.

    Just looks shabby.

If any Charlton boys need to know what bottle looks like (next time they play Millwall), just watch an Andy Murray match. Forget his talent, that lad must surely have more bottle than Heinz.

Gutting - 4th place three Olympics in a row, plus his time today would have won gold in Toyko apparently.

Believe so but if just looked (to me) a bit shabby with the colours of the Olympic signage on the umpire chairs  etc and the kit worn by ball boys / girls and umpires.

The umpires looked to be standing on rolled back mats.

Didn’t have the ‘Wimbledon’ type feel of being very polished.

    Just watching the swimming.

Is there some sort of rule that the competitors have to walk out looking as disinterested/surly as they possibly can? Look like a load of absolute helms.

Hopefully Peaty can manage the massive expectations and bring home the gold.

they come out as if they're about to compete in an 8 mile style rap battle.

From my expert knowledge of watching swimming the past two days it looked like Peaty had too slow a start

Semi time would have won the final. Pressure is a funny thing.

Still, an Olympic silver medal is an incredible achievement.

it looked like that came down to who was on a stroke (oo err) when they touched - Peaty had to glide the smallest amount and reach at the end where the Italian didn't. Fine margins and all that but still a huge achievement to get silver.
