Absolute masterclass from the mens 4x200 Freestyle relay team. Looked in control the whole way and a fantastic gold.
That final leg from Scott was unbelievable

    Yes!

I have to say I'm loving this Olympic doubles tournament, it's so great when you see singles players playing doubles, rather than just the usual doubles pairings.

Crazy that we've actually got as many Gold Medals as the United States at the moment.

Scott’s leg was awesome but that last 50 from Dean was outrageous. Just went turbo.

Into the quarter final round in the men’s doubles. What a story it would be if Evans/Murray can win one more match together and guarantee a chance at a medal.

Their quarter final opponent will be either the third seed Americans Fritz & Paul or the unseeded Dutch Haase & Rojer.

On the surface, you’d think you’d want to avoid the American pair but Fritz’s schedule tomorrow includes 3 matches in singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles all before any potential QF the day after.

    Top half of the draw

    Ebden/Peers [AUS] v Koepfer/Struff [GER]
    Fritz/Paul [3, USA] or Haase/Rojer [NED] v Evans/Murray [GBR]

    Bottom half of the draw

    Alcaraz/Nadal [PR, ESP] v Krajicek/Ram [4, USA]
    Machac/Pavlasek [CZE] v Krawietz/Putz [2, GER]

Awesome, although I guess Athletics is normally when they do best.

    Well, since Phelps retired anyway!

I don't find it easy to multitask but seeing the 4 x200 freestyle boys winning gold again and at the same time seeing Evans and Murray saving more match points before winning again was a magic climax 💪🏻GB.

Never seen Andy Murray celebrate like that, not even when he won his Wimbledon titles.
He was like a big kid jumping about…..fantastic stuff.😄🤓👏

I wasn’t aware until now that the Belgian pair that Evans/Murray defeated were finalists at Roland Garros just last year.

Excellent win, even better with that context.

Watching the Triathlon at the minute. Bit of a weird event so far. The discrepancy between various competitors entering the water was huge and suggested they didn't know when to go (Spanish TV implying the Danish women went too soon).
The current in the river has moved a few of them off course as well including a couple who went the wrong side of buoy's.

Must be nerve-wracking trying to go at speed while wondering if your tyres are going to betray you on every corner.
