Just walked in here after the game and some massive geezer in a straw boater hat was telling the bar staff to go f### themselves, then threw his pint over one of them.
Wtf was that about?2 -
Was pretty busy before KO, had some chicken george in the fan zone.0

The bar staff in the fans bar after the game are just appalling, who hired these people, incompetent and slow is their only mode.
Had chicken George in the fans zone before with my son, very good, will try the lush burger van next week0 -

But they will have a pop up bar at the Fan Zone so you can drink and sit outside.1 -
Bedsaddick said:Yes the covered end - blah blah - which is ironic as they don’t cover the one item of food they sell0

I’m one of the rear breed that does not need to be feed and watered before going inside a football ground9

After game, people taking there drinks outside from Bartrams and sitting in the fan zone in he sun, the food stalls still open.
I assume after a 3pm kick that will not happen even in say September.0 -

The bar/catering staff at sports venues are always going to be a bit rubbish, as they're temporary workers (zero hours?) who go from venue to venue when required. You can't compare them with the workers at a restaurant or pub who who there all the time as their main job.11

I still remember his q&a from a match or shoot annual in late 80s.
Favourite food: Mum's cooking
Favourite drink: Ribena4 -
North stand lower.at half time we ordered 2 pints of lager.
Not the most challenging of orders, but the bloke attempting to poor them was only pouring froth.
After about 5 minutes he done away with the glass and got a bucket.
This resulted in a bucket full of froth.
Why don't you adjust the tap I suggested.
Don't know how was the reply.
Then nothing came out the tap at all.
What's up I said.
Barrel needs changing came the reply.
Change it then I said.
Don't know how to he replied.
By now there's about 50 people queuing behind me thinking what's that fucker ordering.
Eventually I had to settle for a couple of pints of pale ale.
Never again will I bother with that load of bollox.
A couple of miniature bottles of whisky in my pocket from now on.9 -
Methven talks about fan experience. Seriously. He needs to walk around the stands once in a while to get himself a bite to eat and a bevvy
Shokin!9 -

I was second in line behind straw boater man, he should get a permanent ban in my opinion, the bar staff will be on minimum wage i would imagine and don't deserve that.16 -

Queues seemed a lot longer in the North Lower (fight me) today. If I’m looking to get pissed before a Charlton game though there’s absolutely no chance I’m getting a drink in the ground. Royal Oak is great since it got taken over and they no longer have two staff wearing pyjamas serving 200 people0

what is the bloke wearing a straw boater doing there anyway? wrong end of the Thames for a regatta.0

North Stand Lower today - left our seats after 40 mins to get a drink - had to wait 15 minutes before I got a beer - there were 5 in the queue before me.There is no feeling of urgency at all from the bar staff. The club could be taking loads more money if they do some simple things.Pre pour drinks at half time.
have one person on the till and one getting the order.Introduce some feeling of urgency - competition between the tills with a decent prize for who takes the most money / serves most customers. It’s pretty simple12 -

“Our vision for Charlton is for the club to become the most cohesive and sustainable community-driven club in the UK competing at an elite level. For us to reach that level, we need to continue to drive standards on and off the pitch.
But actions rather than words of course 😉🙂0 -
We almost sold out today - thank you to everybody who bought from us.People loved our 2 for £6 victory offer! - I encourage everybody else to try! ❤️24
