maybe he is going to race on to the pitch and  do a two footed lunge on Sean Clare.
Hopefully one of those nice Millwall players will oblige for us...🙄

Did I see it wrong on Skysports news earlier but am sure it said Freddie Potts signed for Portsmouth?

    Poor bloke
I know the Welsh are hardy people and as they are all miners he's probably been down plenty of shitholes...

Played tonight but went off injured

Told NJ was looking at the Orient player who assisted for their goal

I hope the knock Asiimwe got today for the U21’s doesn’t stop him from getting a loan.

Hamstring injury described by Cawley as a "serious one". Sounds like he won't be going anywhere now.

Have we not made another signing, since Campbell?

Bloody disgraceful, we need to start protesting again.

Joe Taylor was an unused substitute for Luton against QPR. They started with Adebayo, Morris and Chong as their front three with Cauley Woodrow coming off the bench.

Can definitely see him leaving late in this window. If the opportunity is there, we should take it and ensure Kanu gets a good loan where he plays and develops.
  • Surely should be asking to take Daniel Iversen on loan? Leicester have 4 goalkeepers.

He’s off to Wigan I believe

edit: got my Taylor striker mixed up. Dale Taylor is off to Wigan

Been said elsewhere there was interest in a loan striker but his club wanted guaranteed minutes that NJ wouldn't give.

Yeah I think NJ has been very clear he has no interest in developing players for the benefit of other clubs.

J Taylor is only one I could see happening if Luton were willing sell and the owners were willing to put a bit of extra money in to make it happen. A loan would be a non starter for us.

Wasn't Dale Taylor mentioned earlier in the window as a possible permanent???

As much as I'd love Joe Taylor I think NJs stance on loans despite his relationship with Luton probably makes it a non starter.

Not sure why we haven’t been linked to Lucas Bergström of Chelsea for a GK loan. He’s never going to play for them and he’s highly rated. Previously been at Peterborough on loan and just about passes the CL height test of 2m tall. Linked with Blackpool but would’ve expected us to have some interest.

I think we just need a couple of players better than what we have.

GK and a forward come to mind, but forward is only needed if Leaburn is still out of action/ has a setback before the deadline closes.

I think we're in a good position with that too, I imagine Potts can and will sign at any time, and I can see Hylton joining on a short term contract til January if we suddenly have an injury crisis up top (though with Aneke, Godden, Ahadme, Leaburn, Kanu, Campbell and Dixon, and then even Mbick and Casey, it would need to be a huge injury list!)

I'd certainly like to see more of Mbick this season.

Rylah played up front for the u21s yesterday, and in the formation we’re using that’s probably where he’d get a chance if he breaks through.

Casey and Mbick get a lot of the attention due to their goals, but I wouldn’t rule out Rylah. Looks like he’s got something about him physically in that he could potentially compete at first team level.

The amount of pace and strength Rylah has will always make him useful.

In the EFL trophy games maybe but I'd hope we have enough that he isn't needed for the league.

And doubly so in a Jones system. Strong and quick are things he values highly.
