How bout them Snakes eh?

13 runs in one inning without hitting a home run must be some kind of record?

Cards as poor first game as they were last season.

Going to be a long summer  :(

3 games to look forward to at Fenway this May.

I say look forward…. That’s debatable looking at the total lack of effort from our owners to compete. But a decent start for us last night.

    That pitching staff is...old.
  • Yankees looked good in game 1 against Houston. Much more like what you'd expect from them. IF their pitching holds up and they hit better than last season they could be something this season. Any team with Soto/Judge has a chance.

A tough start for the Giants. It’s not nice to be swept by the Dodgers. Early days yet though. Their home opener tomorrow.

Baseball is possibly the most pedestrian sport, it makes cricket look like F1.

Cards score five in an innings to win from behind in their home opener.

Cards live on TNT right now.

Raining in St Lou so doubt game will go nine innings.

Was at Citi Field last night, Giants were not at the races, then in the 8th up pops Patrick Bailey with a grand slam home run to turn the game around. It was an amazingly entertaining game, even if we lost it would have been a corker. And they know how to charge for beer at the Mets...  😱

Only the fourth time in baseball history it has happened. Great fight back today as well - we didn't go to that one, but watched the last few innings on TV when we got back to the hotel. Going again tomorrow to see if we can complete the sweep...

It wasn’t to be, but fair play to the Mets, a great 9th to take the win. Tyler Rogers was a disaster as closing pitcher. As another couple of Giants fans I spoke to said, a one trick pony, and everyone now knows the trick…

Do they sell season tickets over there?

Yes they do, but I have no idea how much they cost.

Nice walk off double at Oracle Park to beat the evil Dodgers last night... A little sunshine in the clouds.

Very much hot and cold. But, they’ve had lots of injuries. LaMonte Wade coming back last night was a big plus.

    Wow!

Blake Snell throws his first ever no-hitter for the Giants against the Cincinnati Reds as they win 3-0!

Swept the Guardians who were 1st in the American League standings before the series, haven't lost a series since June (12 series ago) and that's with 2 of our starting pitchers out and with injuries to our first choice 1B, and now our 1st choice catcher
  • And I thought the Giants were having a meh season!

Just a Mets @ Braves double header tomorrow will conclude the regular season. Otherwise the playoff bracket is set:

    AL
    #1 Yankees v #4 Orioles OR #5 Royals
    #2 Guardians v #3 Astros OR #6 Tigers

    NL
    #1 Dodgers v #4 Padres OR #5 Braves / Mets
    #2 Phillies v #3 Brewers OR #6 Mets / Diamondbacks

    Double header results:
    2-0 Braves: #5 Braves & #6 Diamondbacks
    2-0 Mets: #5 Mets & #6 Diamondbacks
    1-1: #5 Braves & #6 Mets
  • Anyone but the Yankees
  • Anyone but the Yankees
    Is the correct answer.
