Got real hope Palace could be dragged into a relegation battled based on that. Eze apart, they look a poor outfit.1

Absolutely devastated at Palace's poor start. Just means they'll replace Glasner and go on a miraculous run to safety at some point later in the season2

Palace really don't do well with foreign managers do they?
Is it a ploy or something, the Manager incoming thinks "Palace" so imagines a nice area, they then see the reality down there and they do the best they can to be sacked so they can get the hell out without catching some disease?
I guess its been coming seeing they barely got a result against us 😉0 -

And I don't think he'd do very well.7 -
Potter and Moyes to be snapped up before they sack him hopefully1

Southgate came through their ranks and played over 150 games for them but I'm not sure that, in his head, he gave up the England job with a view to managing a side in the bottom three of the PL. It's not the sort of job that is going to enhance his CV especially if they go down and I think that he would rather wait for a top job at say United and if he fails there then the likes of Palace might become attractive. Depends how long he's prepared to hang on and the level of his belief that he will be offered that position at a big club at some point. He might even consider going abroad for that.2 -

Glasner clearly needs to change something as his current plan isn't working. Mateta was really good last season but seems to have lost his place to Nketiah who i think is quite overrated.
Probably also says a lot for how good Olise was. Now they run everything through Eze so if you stop him there isn't much else happening.
Also not helped by Wharton's ongoing groin issue that he picked up during the Euro's. Seen quite a few Palace fans saying the club should've sent him for an op weeks ago as he'd have recovered and been back by now. Seemingly though the club are instead trying to 'manage' it with rest and painkilling injections. What good is that doing?
Last night he was an unused sub so he clearly isn't fit. In their last game he managed an hour but struggled. They could've sent him for an op before the international break and by the time they play next week he'd be 3 weeks into his recovery. Instead they'll be 3 weeks down the line, he's played 0 minutes and the issue will still be there. Terrible management by the club.

Just as an aside I note that Roy Hodgson had 25 roles in football management. His estimated worth is 20 million pounds!
I imagine he had plenty of pay offs in his time, before moving on to ever more lucrative jobs. I very much doubt that loyalty pays as well.

Spurs at home, Wolves away, Fulham home before the next international break (yes quite unbelievably there is another one) and if they go winless by then you'd have to think Glasner will be gone.0 -
Watching the coverage of the game last night - is Aaron Ramsay the worst pundit in history? Geniunely painful to watch/listen to.0
-
They have had a relatively straight forwards start to the season in PL terms I think. Lost to Brentford and Everton so far. Wolves and Ipswich coming up in their next 5 games I think.1
-
Annoyingly I can see them appointing Moyes or someone at the start of December and getting out of it. The loss of Olise is enormous for them and they can't run the entire side through Eze.
Think the honeymoon is well and truly over for Glasner.2 -

Absolutely typical that in a season where Palace haven't won in 8 games three other teams, a historical high, also are yet to win so they aren't completely cut adrift. They are exceptionally jammy6

You just know that if those teams are the bottom four Palace will be fourth from bottom and avoid the drop.0

Rumours starting that Moyes a candidate for the Palace job should Glasner leave.
I blame you :-)2 -

for those with sky or now tv, there is an interesting game tonight (25/10), Leicester v Forest, the 'East Midlands' grudge game0
-
Noticed Chris Wood celebrated when he scored despite being an ex Leicester player, well done let's have more of it.2
-
Nuno doing a great job at Forest.0

Anyone spot the odd one out?0
