Just seen the highlights. Now that AMB has taken off the mask, he can see the ball. Looked like he had a good game last night

I liked the way Hylton coached Tyreece to his goal. 
It came from a throw by Berry. Halton instructed Berry how to rake the throw and were to put it. Halton got the ball yelled at Tyreece where to run to and put the ball in his path. Then shouted at him how to get I to tge area to take his shot.
He may be slow but has a good experienced footballing brain. He knows the game well.

But because he's 'one of ours' and 'learning his trade' its fine and you focus on the positives.

What I saw last night of him is that he's no where near ready, and those errors would cost us in a league 1 game. But there will still be the clammer for him to start soon

My view on this, and I may be biased as a well known fan of the lad, is that 90% of his gametime last night was impeccable. Cool headed, composed on the ball & attack minded when the opportunity showed itself. And a definite lack of sideways passing which is a flaw others have commented on in their criticism of regular defenders.

I agree that he did make a couple of errors but please tell me which of our players is blameless throughout the 90+ minutes of a match. 

Like other Lifers, I was watching Zach closely as this was "his moment" to show what he's made of. And for the majority of the match, he didn't disappoint. 

But my final point which I believe is a viable one, is, apart from the previous tie at Cambridge,  he has had minmal game time thus far this season to hone his performance & to be " match fit". One game if I remember correctly in the U21s ....hardly the best preparation for last night's important showing against the Chelsea stars of the future, who on the whole are his peers, age wise.....As a result, he would have felt under a deal of pressure to perform with the Bromley match probably his next opportunity. 

And, looking at his body language when he walked off the pitch at the final whistle, I think he was disappointed with his performance.....and determined to remedy this if given further chances to do so.

I doubt that will deter them from wanting him if they think they can make money out of it. 

That's the point it would be a business decision. Chelsea like fast forwards now and even Nicolas offside Jackson has improved since he has had one to one coaching in the afternoon. 
I wouldn't see Miles having a future at Chelsea as not only would he need to improve at a fast rate but they don't play with a traditional number 9.
if they could buy him for a couple of million loan him out with the fees that incur and then sell him to a newly promoted Side to the Premier or an ambitious Championship club in a couple of years for double or treble what they pay for him then it's just part of their loan business and raison d'etre. 

My son goes to the training ground with an academy side to Cobham occasionally and they play against their 16-18 year olds and the amount of Chelsea players and coaches in their younger age groups are as many as the First team.

I was a bit concerned by Assimwe’s performance, far too many potentially costly mistakes and misjudgements to warrant a place in the first XI, and looks like he didn’t even impress at Hartlepool. Hope he can step up again. Unfortunately I agree that while Mitchell was generally imprsssive he too made some bad calls which suggest he shouldnt be thrown in just because of an injury crisis.

Lennie was impressed

Well it seems so, but having read the article, overall it's a mixed report. And Lennie played him as a right-winger. 

I want the boy to do well, and he may well do well. Thing is I believe Karoy Anderson will do well too, but he is already being over-played and getting pelters both here and in the ground - people have forgotten how young he is. I don't want that to happen to Assimwe too. He should get his chance when he's ready, not just because some more experienced players aren't performing.That's what we did last year to both of them. Based on last night, I'm not sure he's ready. But I also think we should send him somewhere better than Hartlepool if we can, Lennie or no Lennie.

Isn't there a rule you can only play for 2 clubs in a season. He has now played for us and Hartlepool.  I suspect he goes back there in a month or two when we have players back assuming they haven't bought someone else in

Zach Mitchell isn't as good as he is hyped to be.  In my opinion.

Asimwe is our 2nd best right back and I'm glad he's back instead of Tennai.

A goal for TC smartly taken.  Now to do it against adults.

Miles is head and shoulders above many Chelsea stars of his own age.

Isn’t the hype as much about his potential as well as where he is now? If he can iron out the mistakes, get a run and develop some consistency then with his ability on the ball he can go a long way.

CB is a hard position to break through in as clubs at any level want a reliable player in that position.

For me of the youngster in the first team squad it’s Mitchell and Leaburn who have the most potential, they have both technical ability and some good physical attributes, something that can’t be said for every young player that’s part of the first team at the moment. Asiimwe might not be far off either as he has some similar strengths - decent going forward and has pace and strength.

Has played there for the Under 21s

I seem to remember he's also played as a Bielik style hybrid, either a DM who drops all the way back into defence or a CB who plays well ahead of the rest of the line. Although that could be a total Mandela Effect situation by me.
