Bloke has got many previous examples of driving like a dick head. As long as he only hurt himself it serves him right.

In their heads. I blame all these airpods you see people wearing. No clue what they are being fed from Zuckerberg, Musk et al.se9addick said:ValleyGary said:From what I’ve heard lately it sounds like there will be awful news to follow. I hope that’s really not true though.

Bit like we have the 3rd highest budget / it’s a project/ we are fixing the basics at the club you mean ? 😉golfaddick said:

To return to the more serious matter however it’s just the nature of social media/ the internet where literally any comment can go unchecked / unchallenged which in normal conversation would be robustly challenged/ clarified on first utterance.2 -
His insurance premium is also going to be hit.
Speedy recovery…oops. Get well soon Antonio.0 -
That is a terrible thing to say.Pelling1993 said:Bloke has got many previous examples of driving like a dick head. As long as he only hurt himself it serves him right.8 -
Is it? He's clearly a fucking nightmare on the roads - how would you feel if he'd totalled your motor, or worse, driven into your missus' motor and killed her?ElfsborgAddick said:

Or if he ploughed into a minibus carrying orphans and puppies?Leroy Ambrose said:

Of course I agree with your post BUT to say "it serves him right" is very poor.Leroy Ambrose said:

I think it might have been worded a bit better, yes. But still got very little sympathy. Hopefully he'll be uninsurable now anyway.ElfsborgAddick said:

A prime example of wealth far exceeding skill. Just because you can afford a supercar, doesn't mean you automatically have the talent to drive it.7

Iv heard that Lewis Hamilton is a shit footballer, so that confirms your thinking…..tangoflash said:A prime example of wealth far exceeding skill. Just because you can afford a supercar, doesn't mean you automatically have the talent to drive it.3 -
That’s mad. Better to pay for a driver surely at that cost level. Not much fun in driving anywhere in the UK these days.Leroy Ambrose said:
That's hit something head on. I'd say if he wasn't wearing a seat belt he'd be dead. Either way, he's already totalled one motor at outrageous speed and told social media it cost him 20 grand a year to insure his car. This might sound insensitive, given the circumstances, but having seen the effects of shit driving first hand, and lost a friend to it when I was younger, I'd say he needs to stop driving like an arsehole. How would people feel if he'd taken another motor out instead of a tree of whatever it was he hit?SuedeAdidas said:
Might do if the car spun.Leroy Ambrose said:How does that work? Not wearing a seat belt wouldn't somehow teleport you into the back seat?2 -
Indeed. Similar for a mobile phone and computer though others lives not so at risk, which makes it incomparable but let's not always be constrained by logic.tangoflash said:A prime example of wealth far exceeding skill. But that's the problem, in a nutshell - isn't it? 'Fun' in this case presumably being the freedom to drive like a bellend until getting caught - hopefully managing not to kill himself or someone else along the way. I suspect hiring a driver hadn't even entered his head - because there's no point having a 250 grand car if you can't drive it like a cnut yourselfvalleynick66 said:

I suspect it might be quite exciting if you drive like he seems to.valleynick66 said:

You jest but I remember when working for the DfT attending a meeting at which the head of road policing was present at which he pointed out quite firmly that there was no such thing as a road traffic accident, they were collisions.Off_it said:
Have you been watching Hot Fuzz?up_the_valley said:
It's not. It's called an RTC "Road Traffic Collision".golfaddick said:I dont understand why nowdays it's a "road traffic accident". Looks to me like there was no other "traffic". Different if you're in a collision with another car or on a motorway accident.
Also some of the damage done might have been made by rescue services if he had to be cut out of the car.
Used to be RTA, but changed years ago, so as to not presume an accident.
The police also got very upset if anyone ever referred to a speed camera. They are safety cameras!

He's been a PL player for a decade and earns about 75k a week so i doubt he's too bothered at 20k a year insurance (which will now be going a lot higher).valleynick66 said:

West Ham United can confirm Michail Antonio has undergone surgery on a lower limb fracture following a road traffic accident on Saturday afternoon.

Lucky to get away with that and hopefully resuming a career. Very heavy hit on the drivers side regardless of what they had to do to get him out, serious damage.

It seems he's been a lucky lad. Hopefully he'll be able to resume his career.guinnessaddick said:West Ham United can confirm Michail Antonio has undergone surgery on a lower limb fracture following a road traffic accident on Saturday afternoon.0 -
Having totalled a Lamborghini and a Ferrari I'm curious what he'll go for next.0

He should forget the Sportcars and either go for an Reliant Robin or buy a tank similar to Chris Eubank.0 -
Chris Eubank's a tank? Wow...... the things you learn.soapboxsam said:hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Having totalled a Lamborghini and a Ferrari I'm curious what he'll go for next.

It will possibly effectively end his career as he is now 34.
He'll be 35 by the time he is match fit.
Will he want to play in the lower leagues?0
