If anyone watched that little bit on Sky about the Brighton v palace rivalry and didn’t shout out Cnut at the telly you’re a better person than me
I cant believe how much they seem to have bought into the artificially created "rivalry" these chumps have manufactured. "Part of the Premier Leagues' rich tapestry", apparently. Absolute bullshit.

What did someone on CL call this “derby”?
I found it hilarious but can’t remember what it is.
Did it begin with D, the D…… derby.

As far as Brighton v palace is concerned, I’m 100% Brighton today, but I’m not liking how willing their players are to go down clutching their faces when there was no facial contact (à la Rivaldo). Also, the commentators not calling it out for what it is. It does irritate me.
  • Fuck sake Brighton!!
  • Disaster 0-2!!!
  • Bloody useless

There is no thing I dislike more when watching prem football than hearing Palace fans singing that fucking wanky song they sing when they’re winning.
Goes through me like nails down a blackboard.

I still struggle to believe Lewis Dunk has England caps or anyone rates him. Carthorse.

Forgetting the inherent bias of Charlton fans against Palace, they are showing today why I had Palace to finish 13th back in August.
Still missing Walton but they are playing as a team over the recent month and a fit Eze makes the difference.

Totally bossing Brighton who may need the stronger Ferguson up front to get back into this game.

0-2 HT and the Sussex/Surrey Demographic location of their supporters is going to the majority who live north of Pease Pottage services.

So far ahead of CAFC I must be the only Charlton fan that just doesn't see them as any kind of rival now and 20 years ago is ancient history in a football world where you are only as good as your last match.

Brighton woken up as Palace retreat and Henderson getting some good practice in trying to prove he's one of the 3 best English keepers.

Eddie Nketiah onside from the half way line, runs clear and somehow misses the goal when lobbing the keeper.

    1-3 FT
  • To me Brighton have been slightly disappointing this season, considering that unlike last season they're not in Europe as well.

They didn't really lose anyone significant in the summer, and spent a lot of money, without delivering the massive bargains of previous years.

They lost their manager which is pretty significant as well as Groß who was a bigger player for them than he appeared. New manager getting used to a new league and other teams are performing better than expected. I think they're doing ok really

If Brighton had won today they would have gone 6th in the Premier !

  • Amorim isn't messing about. Dropping Rashford and Garnacho out of the squad today and admitted that neither of them are injured.

Games pretty dull though, two poor teams playing poorly

The way Walker went down 😂😂
  • lol! Hojlund has just made me laugh though... He's gone raging up to Walker, both of them butting heads, and then he's panicked when Kyle has gone down as he's worried that the referee might see it as a red card.

Dont go facing up to him, and leave it to the referee to sort out you muppet

Walker has just done much the same thing

Embarrassing, expect that sort of stuff from South Americans. He's the City captain as well!

Credit to Gary Neville for saying he’ll be embarrassed watching that back later, but unfortunately, I don’t think players are embarrassed by it. It’s just shrugged off as ‘part of the game’ and it absolutely shouldn’t be. Feigning injury is a blight on the game and the fact everyone just accepts it legitimises it.
    Pisses me right off.

The worst cases are where the players is rolling around as if he's lost a leg and when the Ref waves play on somehow he manages to be raised from the dead like Lazarus and sprint back into position. Every time that happens, as it did in the earlier game, the player should be booked.

Glad to see Roy Keane slagging Walker off at half time too. Keane being Keane, he didn’t hold back either. I’d love it if this incident caused feigning injury to start being talked about more and given the disrespect it deserves.

All i can say is Spence must be fucking terrible in training for Porro to continue playing every game. He costs you so many goals.

I don't really see what getting rid of Ange will achieve at this point, you then have to go again with another new manager who will want his own players. Personally if i was Levy i would give Ange a couple of signings he wants in January and see how he goes until the end of the season.
Ange must have been listening to you.
Djed Spence makes his first start tonight, Porro rested (or dropped for yet another mistake, depends how you look at it!)
