lets keep the Charlton stuff to another thread.

    First 9-darter tonight, Christian Kist
Can't believe how little the geezer who won £60k in the crowd celebrated!
  • How did the punter in crowd get chosen / win it ?

How did the punter in crowd get chosen / win it ?
A dart landed in his eye

Camera panned round the crowd and then stopped on him.

Gutting for the guy stood behind him who thought he'd won it at first.

He celebrated as if he'd won a free beer, not £60k

Oh to be a cameraman’s friend. That feels like it can be manipulated. £60k is a decent pop

Well chuffed, just grabbed 3 seats in the ticket resale, in the family section for tomorrow afternoon. Been watching loads with the boy over the last few years, this week's routine has been watching the previous night's highlights before school in the morning. He joins in with the chanting, I load in covert maths lessons, and he loves it... and now we go! My first visit since the Circus Tavern days. Wife is slightly less chuffed, but will be converted I am sure, well, possibly.
  • Littler through to the 3rd round. Was lucky to not be 2 sets down, and only 1-1. Improved in the 3rd set. 4th set was something special. 145 Average

    11 darter, 10 darter and 11 darter.
  • In that last set most of those treble 20s you knew would land before he even threw the dart - top stuff!

Joe Cullen come across as an absolute whopper after his game this afternoon
  • Ross Smith Smudges his copybook with woeful finishing and dumped out by Paolo Nebrida 3-0
  • Oh, and Callan "Combover" Rydz beat Martin Schindler 3-0 in the opening match of the evening session.
  • Third match of the evening, the third seed sent packing in straight sets.

This time Jeffrey de Graaf sends the Flying Scotsman back to the depot.
  • Mate of mine bumped into Lisbie there today

    Well, yes and no.
Yes because it went on and on and either player could/should have won.
But no because both of their games fell apart in the final set.
