Return to London - Preston is £116. Think I’ll give this a miss.
    This country is a joke.
I live in Manchester City centre and it’s a 3 hour round trip on the train. An hour there and back in the car…
Can fly to Manchester on Saturday and back on Sunday for under £90, and people are against HS2.

£66 with trainsplit app. Direct but slow each way, priced from Euston. Still too much for me.

I checked out the train prices too. £138.49 from/to my local station in Essex. Absolutely disgusting. No wonder people use their cars all the time with rip-off prices like that.

  • Bizarre from the club to not lay on a coach straight away, and wait to see if the demand would be there. It's not exactly Old Trafford, but it's still the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Disgraceful tbh, you'll have non-league clubs running transport to every game.

From memory, we played Exeter in a 1st round coca cola/whatever game.  They took bookings then cancelled the coach at the last minute because of insufficient(in the clubs eyes) numbers.

£10 ticket is looking superb value considering Tamworth have announced they're charging £42 (adult, main stand) for Tottenham FA Cup game!

That makes more sense to charge that much. Most of those that go will probably never go again anyway

They should have had a discount for their regulars though. Fleece the tourists by all means, but not those who go most weeks
  • 4th biggest budget in the league but worried about losing a few hundred quid on some coaches !

One can only assume the food and drink available for the SMT in the posh seats  must have been rationed too of late 😆

Am I the only one who thinks those prices are a massive piss take. Hope no-one goes. There is maximising the opportunity then there is those outrageous prices.
  • Over 66s is the one that deserves a bit of flak imho
  • And their use of apostrophes leaves a bit to be desired

  • I'm in. Very local one for me. Fiver oap and use of me nearly new bus pass. Last time it was that cheap must have been in 70s when I'd walk it from well hall or get 161 and walk across woolwich common to take up sitting postion in the covered end (on the steps).

I’m going to see how our championship ready players shape up against championship opponents. Although I suppose by then we might have sold them 😂
seriously though it’s the FA Cup innit you got to cheer the lads on
