Ahadme is clearly not working atm, hopefully he can be shipped out on loan and get some games and goals behind him.4

Not sure on the rules, but haven’t there been players who have switched nations even after being capped at senior level, which was allowed as those caps were in friendlies? So I wouldn’t have thought caps below senior level matter?Richard J said:
Didn't he play for Wales U20 and then declared for England? Not sure if he can go back.Scoham said:
Probably because he’s only really established himself as a top end L1 player this season.killerandflash said:
Considering some of our recent players in recent years who've played for Wales like Levitt and Smith, I'm surprised Lloyd Jones has never been called up, seeing that he has a Welsh father.Sage said:Lloyd’s dad is a Cardiff supporter so I would assume Lloyd also like Cardiff. If they were to come in for him, that’s a Championship move I think could happen. However, I think he’ll stay in this window and assess at the end of the season.2 -
Well his first game went really well.Lewis Coaches said:
Hope our owners don’t dive into the crap Dutch market.Braziliance said:On that note, Huddersfield just signed a player for a fee in the window where money can't be spent.

From the Dutch top flight as well. That's what billionaire owners do.
The Guys contract was up end of this season.
😂😂😂got to laugh . Should have brought someone with an understanding of English football.0 -
Of course we ought to take CBT back… he’s a constant threat at this level and would work well in this system in the hybrid roles that TC and Small play8
-
Yep we would be mugs not to take him back if we had a chance just like we would be if we could have may,Dobson or another player worth their salt we are nearly there but not quite and sold our best player to a promotion rival whilst replacing him with second rate and speculating on what his purchase price was we don't spend the proper money to make a difference end of I'm not gonna suck off the SMT or owners balls when its evident every game we lack the quality and dont proper spend on better players and lose players because we won't play hard ball or pay.....TeeC said:Of course we ought to take CBT back… he’s a constant threat at this level and would work well in this system in the hybrid roles that TC and Small play1 -
Blimey the 'we want a great window' crowd are getting desperate now, no rumours and they hang their hat on CBT coming back, ain't gonna happen and nor are any other signings.0

Didn't CBT want to go back to the Midlands anyway?4

Yeah think so mate all out better players don't want to be here for some reasonkillerandflash said:Didn't CBT want to go back to the Midlands anyway?

We needed an attacking right wing back alternative to Small anyway, but it was quite clear today that TC was knackered but was kept on because we have no one else to play that role. Definitely need alternatives for both positions this monthScoham said:Need an alternative or two for Small and TC.5 -

Hearing a certain Championship Club is interested in Leaburn.
Don’t take this as true but thought I just put it out there.

Leaburn not going anywhere... be another Burstow disappear without trace, think he got good people around him who know he no where near ready for championship or above yet and needs at least couple more seasons injury free to learn his trade,, then he will be ready for the championship and will be there with us.……DiscoCAFC said:Hearing a certain Championship Club is interested in Leaburn.

They are light up front , could see him being someone that would interest them. New owners likely to want to spend too.1 -
Yeah you’d think new owners want to spend - not at charlton Jones is still working on his project of players from the summerMarcusH26 said:iaitch said:

Why are we not asking Jones in interviews what his transfer strategy is this window ?2
-
why would the club do that? that’s the job of press like the SLP and I’m sure it will happenTheAddicks4Ever said:Why are we not asking Jones in interviews what his transfer strategy is this window ?7 -
Easy to answer that one ourselvesTheAddicks4Ever said:Why are we not asking Jones in interviews what his transfer strategy is this window ?

Because we already know.. we have to cut the squad size and we are looking to bring in 2 new signings one attacking mid.. there will not major overallTheAddicks4Ever said:Why are we not asking Jones in interviews what his transfer strategy is this window ?6 -

Cbt was a journeyman who couldn’t find a “home”
short term contracts and a bit-part player wherever he went
he then found a home with us, got regular football and had the best spell of his career.
someone offered him a few quid extra and suddenly he “gets injured” and refuses to play for us again to force through a move.
lo and behold it didn’t work out for him
what Corey needs is a new fucking agent and an attitude adjustment.

I worry Thierry Small could end up following suit if he doesnt find a new Agent.Swisdom said:Cbt was a journeyman who couldn’t find a “home”

Thankfully he doesnt seem to have the attitude issues
Do think he needs to settle down here for a bit longer and then move once he's proven himself a bit more, we've shown too that we're not the sort of club to dig our heels in when it comes to keeping individuals.1 -

The amount of nonsense from CBTs agent on Twitter was ridiculous. Definitely needs a new one, reminded me of that Salif Rubie guy that hung around with Southall.0 -

Only joking, we're looking to waste money on an Ipswich player, sign another of my former Luton mates and bring in yet another loan player called Matt Smith that we'll say we've been chasing for 18 months."8 -
Did anyone see what nixon wrote about us this morning ??0

I assume it’s Ronnie, Bexley Boy & Colin Samways at the very least 🤷🏻♂️ValleyGary said:
