One poster seems to think they have covers that protect to -5 if they had the common-sense to use them.

I’m really looking forward to this. Hoping NJ plays an unchanged team if so I think we can nick it. Last game there was my last game before Covid lockdown where we didn’t really perform hopefully we will this time
Preston are quite strong at home though, just 3 defeats in 17 and 1 of those was to Arsenal.

If it is called off it'll either be on Friday, or mid morning on Saturday when you'll be well on your way...

We've got a hotel booked so if we are 3/4 of the way there we will probably just make a day of it in Preston which will be grim I imagine!

Decent pub just outside the station wouldn't be a bad place to start with.

Sorry, that was off the back off the BBC weather post.

What pubs are people planning on going to?
We're meeting in The Station around midday then heading to Hopwoods Tap House (Church St., 25 mins from ground) or The Royal Consort (Meadow St., 15 mins from ground).

If I was to get the coach from Larkfield, does anyone know if there is anywhere to park nearby the pick up point?
  • Drove past outskirts of preston today, it got up to 3 degrees, what little snow there was that was, in the sunshine was gone. The issue is where the sun don't shine there was frost that looked more than overnight old. Drove to Lytham where it had snowed overnight, even when the snow had started to melt the ground was rock hard.
Their official website has just put up the match preview, not a bleedin word about the weather!

Below zero here again this morning (Yorkshire). Still ice everywhere. It’s -6 overnight and into tomorrow morning.

What would you want to leave ? Surely scarf, blanket, flask (soup) colourful anorak, gloves, cut out silver foil FA Cup will all be required at the game.

What are the chances of this being called off do you think?

Spoke to a Preston fan and he said he couldn’t remember the last time they were off at home so was pretty confident it will be on (famous last words). Only doubts would be if the conditions are unsafe for fans outside and it’s a safety call

Hopefully its not called off. Superb to be taking over a thousand fans didn't expect that. Fair play to all that are making the trip.
