FFS... Gomez down injured again and needing to be replaced, after just returning from a layoff... He's been part of so much success, but should have been involved so much more!!

Wouldn't get injured so much if he left them 2 years ago for more regular football elsewhere...

No more than Plymouth deserve. Slot has overdone the changes and Liverpool may pay the price.

A triumph for Wayne Rooney as his former club Plymouth Argyle take the lead against Liverpool...

My Mum’s husband is a Plymouth fan - so far going great for them - I agree, Slot has made too many changes, starting lineup and bench - imagine going from Liverpool to Plymouth to watch as as Liverpool fan (long fucking journey) and watch such, so far, such an insipid display by Liverpool

That’s only because you fear them nicking your MGB hubcaps 😉

But, yeah I agree - I’m coming from the angle of travelling fucking horrendous miles to support Charlton away, and the team simply don’t (in my opinion) appear to try / give a shit

Sadly I have witnessed waaaaaay too many of those days !!!
  • You wouldn’t want to play in a defence with a guy called Hazard behind you

9 minutes is the "oh no one of the big teams is in trouble" time added on.
  • Lovely save for the Cameras that one!!
  • Chiesa looks absolute shite

Given that he ran the show @ Wembley in the Euro 2020 Final until he got subbed

Rooney deserves credit for this win. They should have stuck with him. This is his team.

    Excellent! Serves you right, Slot
  • Nailed on Plymouth get Palace away
  • Brilliant, that'll teach Liverpool to be cocky and rest too many!

    Hazard and Katic were superb.

Football is overcomplicated at times, stick a couple of mean eastern Europeans at the back and let head and kick the ball/opposition away for the duration.

Premier league change the rules to no replays due to the amount of games they play.
Then make 9 changes to their side.
Should never have bowed down to this change and if a premier club didn’t fancy it, then fuck em.

Lovely stuff - treat the FA Cup as a 2nd rate competition - which today IMO Liverpool have - you get what you deserve - well done Plymouth

And I love the FA Cup to be clear

Commentator says something like - "How on earth can you explain that? A team bottom of The Championship shipping goals all over the shop, losing to the mighty Liverpool?"

Maybe because they weren't playing the mighty Liverpool, but Liverpool reserves, who quite frankly played like an average L1 team?

    Anyway, well done to Plymouth.

The two Plymouth centre halves were great. Love the passion.
