  • Did you not notice Hylton kicking the ball into touch from 5 yards when he had no one on him ?  I think he was trying to play it down the line but jeez, I've seen better passing from a Sunday team still pissed up from the night before.
Remember when you said Leaburn wasn't worth £50k then he scored 2 belters? Made you look like a the total plank you are. But you don't suddenly spew garbage like that all the time do you.

Well most of the time but you get my point

Maybe half joking but NJ didn’t seem to think so, he said Docherty missing the game could be to his detriment.

He’s definitely more consistent than Anderson, but he’s not performed to the level of Ramsay, Coventry and Jones, who will generally always be picked if fit.
I agree with you although whilst I think Anderson will get better with experience, his awareness and vision will only improve so much - if he just sticks to what docherty does when he gets the ball - ie just turn round and pass it back, his other attributes are much better than docherties - in my opinion however, neither will be good enough for the main box to box role in the championship if we get there and would be might first position for an upgrade whether we go up or not

He made a mistake. Fuck me everyone acting like he's not been a pro footballer for 20 years all of a sudden.
    Mmmm, rather not thanks...😉

Only one person spewing garbage here and it's not golfie. Reign your neck in.

  • Very good again, but please NEVER put footage up again of the Gillingham FA Cup game - I’ve had to arrange an urgent meeting with my therapist because of the awful memories it provoked 😉
Totally agree. My daughter watched that and it took her right back to that shitty Meccano stand and watching McCauley Bonne giving it large on the coldest day she ever remembers watching football.

To the tune of 'We're going to Jamaica '

"Oh oh, we're gonna have a party
Oh oh, we're gonna go Bluewater
Oh oh, we're gonna have a Costa
Oh oh, we're going with your misses"
To the tune of Sugar Sugar...

    No Bluewater
    (do do do do do)
    No Costa coffee
    (do do do do do)
    And stay away from Starbucks
Cos the reds are going up

I took my then 5 year old son, shocked he ever wanted to to go to a match ever again. I thought I was going to get frostbite 😂

The worst part is, that was a massive red flag of what was coming.

Jones wants the players to focus on rest and recovery over the next 8-9 weeks, what with promotion a possibility - So has said / joked that he wants the players telling their partners that they'll have to go to Bluewater, go Costa Coffee etc without them, so they can rest up.

To the tune of Sweet Chariot...

    Aim high sweet Charlton boys

A band of angels coming after thee
Coming for to set thee free

    Aim high sweet Charlton boys

My missus said go, go, go

Might be an employemnt opportunity for fans. Seeing as fans will recognise the players, the club could pay them to patrol local shopping centres and coffee establishments. Maybe not.

Ha ha!  I had exactly this thought!  Offer a bounty for any pics of players doing anything other than lying down

tbf, walking round Bluewater can not only be extremely draining for a man, it can also lead to family and marital conflict - i learnt long ago not to take the kids and then the wife - a trip to Bluewater should be conducted like an SAS manoeuvre - know your targets before going and get the hell out of there as soon as you've got them. No coffee, no browsing and under no circumstances get involved in the foodhall.

I got taken to Bluewater in 1999, or more acurrately dragged, by the the Mrs and our young children.  I am allergic to shopping anyway, but it was a sacrifice I was prepared to make for the sake of family cohesion and a sense of duty.  I can still remember the horror now, it was also my last visit.  I should imagine the intervening 25 years have not made the experience more palatable for this officinaphobic.

    Yuk!

I think it starts early - i could run all day every day as a kid - playing football matches, training to play football matches and playing with mates all week long - if i had to get dragged round the shops with my mum and dad looking at furniture and stuff, i'd be exhausted within an hour - carpet shops were the worst
  • Couldn't the fans organise and pay fans to accompany the wives shopping so they won't feel lonely and will have someone to carry the shopping.

Good idea - instead of sponsoring players kit (not sure if that still happens or not) you could sponsor a players wife assistant to do all the bits that might 'drain' her husband - instead of sponsoring the socks, you pay for somebody to listen to her, instead of the shorts, you pay somebody to take her to bluewater and instead of sponsoring the top you can decide whether you want to pay somebody to look after bedroom matters or do it yourself.

This angle really doesn't do Wollacott any favours

I think it's far harsher on Gilbert.  He's lucky Thierry scores to cover up his howler.  If he intended that 'flick on', it's the assist of the decade.
