Wonder if any Charlton players will be called up

Its felt as though the media have linked nearly every single Englishman with his first Squad, so wouldn't surprise me - Looking forward to seeing it named so they can shut up!!

Will it be like Svens first squad & an aging left back from a "little" club will be named. Or will it be like Svens WC squad where the top English Prem striker was ommitted for a young Arsenal upstart who had hardly played a game ??

Dan Burn would be a great shout . Proper old fashioned no nonsense defender. Not so sure about Lewis-Skelly

That still annoys me when I think about Darren Bent.
Absolutely. I still can’t fathom it unless inappropriate levels of pressure were applied by Arsenal. To this day I consider this damning evidence that the big clubs have too much influence on the England team.

Wouldnt be surprised if Djed Spence is called up.  He's been excellent last couple of months for Spurs, arguably been our player of the season.

It's a shame Lewis Hall is out injured, as he's been in fantastic form and could potentially be the solution to our left back issue.

    Burn IN.
Lewis-Skelly IN (deserved, he's been very very good)
    Henderson IN (WTF?)

    No Gibbs-White? Erm.
    No Watkins?

Henderson seems like a mad inclusion, a quick look and he doesn’t even seem to be playing that well for Ajax. Walker also seems odd. I guess a lot of the squad are young so maybe it’s a leadership thing

3 centre mids (I’m not counting Jordan Henderson) and 4 goalkeepers. Ghastly squad that.

    That is mental that squad.

James and Walker over Wan-Bissaka or Spence.
Quansah has played 10 prem games this season.
Dont get me started on Henderson when there’s no Wharton, Gallagher or Gibbs-White.

Certainly made a statement but I’m not sure it’s positive.

Is Gallagher injured? Would have thought he'd be a definite for a midfield spot.

Played midweek but hasn't been starting every game for Atleti. Would still have expected him to be called up though

Think that squad hints to Tuchel playing 343

    Weird squad.

Hope he's got it right, and let's be honest - it's Albania and Latvia, it's probably a free hit and if he's got it wrong we'll win anyway and he'll learn something.

That hasn't stopped Rashford being included. He's started four games in the last three months and has four goals in the PL this season. Equally, Quansah has started two games in the PL all season! Surely Branthwaite should be in front of him?

Quansah can cover on the right, think that's why he's in over Branthwaite given James's injury issues.

In what universe does Henderson warrant a place in an England squad? Should be looking to the future not back 3 years.

England fans react to Henderson’s inclusion:

I see that but so can Walker and Livramento

Livramento will probably be playing/covering LWB and Walker is unreliable these days. Think the player in ahead of Branthwaite is actually Dan Burn, that would be a like for like swap
