The pitch looked much better this afternoon. Not cut as short as previously.
Lots of pigeons which suggests a lot of seed has been spread.4 -

There were people chucking grass seed on the pitch in various places just before the teams came out for the warm-up today. Possibly hoping that players will tread some of the seed into the ground and save it from the pigeons? The pigeons were there in large numbers and clearly word has got around about the free food on offer at the Valley.2
