Welling look doomed after losing again today (2 1 at Farnborough). No real surprise, club’s been on a downward spiral for years.0

Shame to see Welling struggling. Ominous future tbh
Elsewhere locally, Glebe have started work on building a stadium at their Chiselhurst base. 350 stand, 1,500 capacity and 3G pitch. £1.3m project Largely Funded by the Football Foundation2 -

All one big mess.
The manager gets rid of his assistant blaming him for poor training ideas.
Lose next few games and hands in his resignation.
Chairman should have seen what needed changing and it wasn’t the assistant.0 -

In Scottish non league very sad and worrying times at Albion Rovers who have serious financial problems threatening the future of their ground plus they have announced it is likely they will only pay player expenses next season.
Berwick Rangers are in a real relegation scrap and could drop out of the Lowland League into the 6th tier. The situation is compounded by the fact that the leagues are being reorganised for next season and whilst bottom of the Lowland league is normally the only relegation spot, second bottom might end up being a relegation spot too depending on how this reorganisation goes - total farce that it wasnt sorted and announced at the start of the season so everyone knew where they stood. You can see whats going to happen - Berwick will finish second bottom and low and behold that will be announced as a relegation position .
If Berwick do go down I would support saying bye bye to the Scottish leagues and applying to join the bottom tier of the English pyramid system and starting again. The current system of basing training and player recruitment in the central belt is no longer working, no carrot of league football anymore and players can earn more money and have less travelling playing elsewhere. Training and player recruitment would have to be based in Newcastle if moving to England. From a fans point of view it would be totally soul destroying in the 6th tier East of Scotland league with little likelihood of getting back to the Lowland league never mind league football meaning nothing to get behind. A fresh start in England would give fans a new era to get behind, but then its easy for me to say this with no risk involved or knowledge of the obstacles involved.
Also, Berwick are in their first cup semi final for 61 years - albeit a non league cup - and play Dunbar at home on 1st April. A local derby plus the managers previous team and the team that he built. Venue for the final not yet announced, plus the final is after the end of the league season . Finally, the last league game is away at Cowdenbeath (Lowland league fan rivalry equivalent of Charlton away at Millwall) so an interesting month ahead where anything could happen.5 -
I'm quite shocked that Albion Rovers, Berwick Rangers and Cowdenbeath are non league.
It shows the last time I bought a Sunday paper.4 -

3 wins in a row for Enfield have propelled them to probable safety.
Once down it's tough to get back up, with just one automatic place. Dartford are currently second, so could easily end up in the playoff lottery, with a poor recent record in playoffs.1 -
Hamlet look like they are going to be safe but cannot rest on their laurels, having beatedn Potters Bar away last week and losing at home to, adjacent in the league table club, Cheshunt on Saturday.
Whatever happens later in this season, there will need to be a big shake up over the summer.0 -
Ebbsfleet hanging on in there...LOL....2nd win of the season on Saturday.3

Surely a minimal amount from these five could ensure clubs stay afloat.0 -

Looks like the past several poor seasons have finally caught up with Welling. When was the last time they played at Isthmian league level, the 80s?2

Kelty Hearts, Peterhead, Edinburgh City, Elgin City, Spartans and Bonnyrig Rose.
I've heard of 2 of them, but never knew any of the 6 were in the league.0 -
