Offs!
Someone at Ferrari is going to get an arse kicking!0 -
Ferrari seem a bit of a shambles. Fred will be under some pressure I think to turn this around
Rumour mill seems in overdrive about Lawson, even seen a article that Colapinto will go to the Racing bull seat1 -
McLaren look really strong but at least this season is going to be competitive without MV running away with it.
Shambles from Ferrari, having both cars DSQ with each for a different reason is amateurish.3 -
I think McLaren are going to be kept honest by Mercedes and Ferrari. Max will produce some ridiculous wonder win from nowhere like he did in Brazil but the Red Bull looks an absolute mess to drive.3

If they genuinely do swap Tsunoda in for Suzuka it sums up what a complete shambles they have become probably since Dietrich Materschitz passed. Any other team on the grid you'd be asking serious questions about Marko and Horner and how tenable they are but they both seem absolutely bulletproof.2 -

But of all the tracks done this season, Suzuka is the first that Lawson has already competed at, so might give him a touch of confidence going into it, especially with a weeks break - I know the same could be said for Antonelli / Bearman etc. at China this weekend, but at least they've not been under stupid pressure from minute one0 -

It is poor to have one car disqualified but it happens. Two for different reasons is off the scale. Another thing is Hamilton won the sprint race and apparently they made small changes to his car. Somebody has a lot of explaining to do I suspect.1

Ferrari have been screwing up regularly for seasons on the pitch wall but this is shanbolic2

Alpine are just a mess. Doohan hasn't looked great but 5 races is nothing.1 -
Freddie Slater testing F3 in Bahrain this week with AIX , I know AIX aren't great as a team but will be interesting to see how he stacks up.1

Reputable Dutch Newspaper is saying that Honda have paid Red Bull 10m to swap Tsunoda and Lawson at Suzuka1

or is the answer to the first part also the second part?0 -
BBC now reporting the Lawson/Tsunoda swap too, clearly happening

Wonder what'll happen if Tsunoda can do no better than Lawson...0

Might as well just run one car. Everything they do is directed to getting the best out of that car anyway.0
-
If we're being honest Lawson probably isn't a top tier driver and shouldn't have been given the seat but even so it's crazy they're binning him after only 2 races. Even Verstappen is reportedly angry at the decision.
If you build your entire team and car around the preferences of one driver, i don't think you can be too surprised when the other driver suffers.6 -
When will Red Bull learn it's the car at fault! Even Max says it's hard to drive.0
-
Brutal by Red Bull, but not exactly going against type.
Netflix will be pleased to have the first episode of next year's Drive to Survive sorted out already.
At what point does someone finally start to question Horner's ability to manage these young drivers?2 -
Sainz was perfect for Red Bull, would have given Max a bit of a challenge and would have been consistent. Max will be off to Merc or Aston Martin in the next year or 2 anyway. I've heard some rumours of Red Bull powertrains being a bit crap so far2
-
Red Bull have been mistreating their "2nd" driver for years.
Long may things continue to go wrong for them and their ginger-twat of a leader.1 -
Any other team with this constant mismanagement and Marko and Horner would be out the door. Am surprised Mintzlaff the new head of sport who came from RB Leipzig is content to let them make so many mistakes1

Will certainly be interesting to see how they get on now Newey has left though.1 -
