  • Well played 45. 100 per cent effort closing down everything.  Godden could have had a hat-trick. TC and Small looking dangerous.  I only hope we don't give them a sniff to get back into it as they are capable of getting three goals In a half.

It would be lovely to be three or four up and give Dixon a chance but let's see.

  • Huddersfield rightly booed off. Yes they improved in the last 15, but in the first 30 they constantly gave us the ball in dangerous positions. Their passing was so sloppy

Plus we were super sharp, for both goals we intercepted the ball and played an excellent ball.

Small's crossing has been excellent, and with both feet
    And in other news:

Fcuk 'em and their unbeaten run.
  • Really good first half, the Terriers have not got the knack of marking Tyreece or Godden and our midfield has been all over them. Can't believe they can be that bad in the second 45, Charlton need to keep doing what they are doing, Huddersfield need to come out a different side, but they will leave gaps trying to get back in it.
  • Need a third goal. Hudd look decent up top - don't need a repeat of the Wigan game.
I think they've looked toothless up top so far tbh
  • Great catch up with Martin Pringle, and some nice memories to boot...
  • Best game I've seen this season. First to every ball & better than then all over the pitch. My only complaint is that we've wasted good positions & dont have enough players in /around the box when we break. A few times Small & TC have had  to wait before putting in a cross. But I'm hard to please.

Should win this by 3 or 4.
But if we don't, god help us on the post-match thread ...

Charlton great half - 3-0 would be a fair reflection.

Charlton look a much stronger & more balanced side with Edwards back. Midfield solid & strong in this half. Bullet header from Godden & good finish from the centre. Ramsey & Small looking good on right.

Huddersfield hustled forward end of half but only got territory. Charlton looking the more fluid team.
Hoping for more of the same 2nd half.
    COYRs.
  • Is this really the same team that I saw V The Posh.
    A world of difference, inexplicable!
The two goals involved Small and Campbell….both of whom were absolute pants at Peterborough.
Would still like to see a third……just to dot the i’s & cross the t’s.
  • Let us hope NJ does not think it is all over and replaces Godden too early
  • Great first half, really haven't given them a look in.  Need to be prepared for an onslaught early in the second half, if we meet that with our usual energy then we'll go on and get one or two more.

    Current player scores:

    Ronnie Moore
Small - 3, no end product
    Campbell - 2, wasteful
  • Berry restarts the match
  • I'd like to say i've missed Brownie's over analysing and over praising the opposition, as I said I'd like to but...nah🙄
  • We kick off second half.
  • Be nice if Burton could do us a favour as well in the next 45mins
  • Hogg replaces Hodge for Hudds

  • Up the right, Small back to Doc, ball into the box half cleared, and now they come up our left but blocked by the dugouts.

Their fans dont seem overly enthusiastic about that change
  • Ball into the box, Mannion races wide to grab it
  • Off we go for the second half, and hopefully another couple of goals for The Covered End to enjoy... ,
  • “Tupac go head and rock this”
  • TC almost scores a roof-raiser!

Good save by keeper tipping his long range curler behind.
  • Nice strike by Cambell
  • We get it wide to TC, he lashes a hight shot just outside the box and the keeper has to push it over for a corner.
  • Edwards takes
  • Great effort from outside the box TC, he’s looking confident
