  • Great day, excellent performance all round.TC was unplayable at times, but what I liked about his performance,he also had an eye for a short pass around the box. This lad could become a complete player,we better go up or it will be difficult to keep him.
Mention for the subs, all did their bit, especially Chucks who has took a bit of stick recently, but today did his bit very well.
Totally agree, his second  goal and the shot that forced a  magnificent save, reminded me of what CBT started to do before he left for Derby.
  • Whats that sailing through the mist in the Thames.

The Guns are firing once more... but wait... there are cries of CEASEFIRE... Its sounds like there has been a bit of a bloodbath, a massacre of epic proportions, because Huddersfield have been SUNK!!

    Battleship GIFs Tenor
    Is this an Iowa class?
  • who are the 3 blokes on TC's left?
    A-ha
So it’s not Groucho, Harpo, and Chico?
  • Not gonna lie, I had this down as back to back defeats and nervous look over our shoulders.

Lays down a marker against someone we might face in the playoffs
  • Doherty and Coventry superb in midfield. Jones as always, brilliant. Godden great and TC unplayable. Long may it continue

After today I dont see Huddersfield as top 6 material. Think 6th will be betwen Reading, Bolton & Orient.........but Blackpool are making a late charge for it too !

No word from Golfie yet, perhaps he's breaking it gently to his 'black cloud' that he won't be needed this week !
I've only just got my senses back having needed to lie down after the game 😀........also no bloody wifi from HT until I got the bus back home.....😡.

As I posted at HT.....best performance I've seen all.season and it was an all round display from all 15 players. Cant pick out a standout player as they all played their socks off but just a shame it took half the season to get going.

Play offs almost nailed on but need another 8-10 points to be sure. Think top 2 have gone seeing as Wycombe & Wrexham both won again but would like to finish 3rd or 4th so still work to be done.

So pleasing to be able to sit for the last 30 mins without worrying about anything. MOTM......their keeper.
Well done Golfie, glad you made it down there, was gonna ask if you you had a different perspective on the game by being there, pointless now though, you could have watched that anywhere and not fail to be impressed.

  • We definitely have to go up - will lose a number of players if we don't...
    Sadly spot on I fear.

I remember Curbs saying that if we hadn't gone up in 1998, that team would have been broken up and no doubt the likes of Rufus, Kinsella and Mendonca would have been sold.

If we don't go up this season, it is sadly too easy to see Small move on (actually even if we go up, I have a feeling he may well look for a better pay day) with the likes of Campbell (who after his performance today must surely have some Championship clubs - at least - looking at him) and Ramsay.

  • If we finish 3rd and Reading 6th but are not sold so get kicked out of the league, do we get a bye into the final?
Just focus on Tuesday night and let the chips fall as they may. Readings fate not something we can control and I hope they survive.

Great result today, and given other results bar Bolton, needed to be.

I think you may well be right, but it's not what we sell it's how we replace and what we have coming through our youth system to replace. Zach Mitchell and Josh Laqeretabua are just two who will knock on the door, Rylah and Enslin another two. Remember when we sold Lee Bowyer to Leeds we paid the bills and built a side out of it. Those old enough to remember the sale of Billy Bonds will remember his replacement being Bob Curtis, I had it on good authority, none other than Charlie Wright, that he couldn't believe that the club sold Billy Bonds but when he saw Bob Curtis play he could see why. There are loads of examples and I believe it can happen again with the current crop of youngsters.
  • Get in you Addicks! From a sunbed in Cancun..

Rumour is it's a points deduction as it's easier for the EFL to handle.

Didn't score enough goals though. Should really have put them to the sword, but let them off.
  • I was at the game today - absolutely brilliant all round performance.

If we play at that level, we may well go up through the play offs - need to keep them all fit.

Well done all and hats off to NJ and his team!!
  • I thought Huddersfield’s no. 27 was their most lively player. Unfortunately for them he got less than 20 minutes on the pitch.

Worst back line I've seen in a good while though, felt sorry for their keeper.
