If we are to get Stockport and are in 4th position the game will be a 7.45pm kick off so an overnight will be required if going by train.
Stockport info from football ground guide:
Away fans are normally housed on one side of the Popular Side Stand, where up to 900 seats can be allocated across two blocks. This stand is covered; however, several supporting pillars could impede your view if there is a large turnout. But really, for most visiting teams, this area is more than adequate. You can access the entrance to this stand by walking behind the Railway End.
For the really big games, visiting supporters can also be allocated to all or part of the Railway End, where the capacity is 1,366.

Blackpool and edging into contention. They will need to win most of their games of course and can't really catch us but I wouldn't write them off for sixth. And they will then be dangerous if that happened.
With the teams they have left to play, I think they'll drop points.
Ridiculous thread when we haven’t even made it yet
I understand your point, and If I resided in the UK, I wouldn't be asking. But there are loads of us who live abroad, and to be able to make it to games, it takes a lot of planning, logistics and money.
Planning around booking time off for work, making sure the kids are looked after etc, it's not as simple as jumping on a plane and popping over for a week.
I don't have the luxury of waiting till the end of the season to begin implementing the trip. The decisions to fly over, spending thousands of pounds to watch 2 games of football effects the whole family unit, and work.
I also understand that this thread may trigger some supporters who travel home and away to games throughout the season, and then come the playoffs, every Tom Dick and Harry wants tickets to the games. I tip my hat to every man, woman and child who make such an incredible commitment to follow us around the country week in week out. They're the ones who absolutely should get priority over anyone else.

Mind you some people would love it to be Blackpool @JBLOCK ?
From a selfish point of view, I'd prefer the home leg first as I won't be able to make a midweek game now I'm injured and living the wrong side of town!

We're all a bit nervous about tempting fate, that's all. You'll get to the home playoff, if there is one. You'll get to Wembley, if we go there. Away, I wouldn't be so sure. But come over, watch on the tele at least, and maybe you'll get to go. It all depends of course on if we make it at all, whether we finish 3/4 or 5/6 and who we end up playing and, I would say, if we are the 1230 game on Saturday or the 7.45. Still, given where we were four months ago it's a lovely problem to have, I would say.
Looking back, Doncaster was absolutely perfect. A lunchtime Sunday distance impacting enough to taper demand, and 3,700+ in a modern stand with good atmosphere. Perfect
We started the day in 5th, with a few minutes to go we were 4th, scoring right at the end of game to move into 3rd on goal difference. Could be the same this season, so not really knowing who we could get should we be in the playoffs.
But I keep being told that GD never settles issues 🤷♂️

Whilst I understand your concern we are all jumping the gun a bit here. We are most likely going to be in the play offs but nothing is settled yet. I'd say give it another 2 weeks & we should know after Good Friday's game.

@masicat Anyone but Blackpool for me, gives me an excuse to leave for a few hours ...
Not sure why you posted this but we took over 38k and i don't know of any Charlton fan who desperately wanted to go but wasn't able to. Most fans will know either a member or ST holder who could get them a ticket if they wanted.
Plus if we get to the final and it's not against Huddersfield or Reading, we'd probably get given 45k if we wanted them.

I said the exact same to Mrs Oz, Golfie. She wants to buy the flights now, I'm holding off as long as possible.

Huddersfield didn’t even get close to selling out a championship play off final against Forest.

I was just answering the original question with an example of how it worked for the play off final six years ago. It wasn’t in direct response to your post which I agree with.
Anyone know how you can buy hospitality for the final?
Is it through the club or from Wembley direct?
OK I know I'm jumping the gun but best to be prepared!
Via Wembley direct, they already have a contact form to fill in and once teams known they’ll email out with prices - depending on what you want say a box through to club Wembley on level 2

The Larkfield coach to Stockport leaves this afternoon
Any Charlton fan who wants to go will be able to, even if they've not been to a game since the last play off final.
