  • Particularly as I was one of the handful of charlton at Luton in 1989 when away fans were banned and we conceded 5. Oh, and at Brighton in 1983 when we lost 7-0!
Luckily I missed the Burnley away thrashing.

That's why a modicum of success that we're having now is so precious.
I was there at Luton. Felt like an achievement at the time

    It was.
  • I was at the games at Luton during the period of the away fans ban. Colleagues sister was their Marketing Manager and she gave me tickets.
  • I was at the 6-0, would love to be there for the revenge with a reverse.

All of us that suffered that day, should of course be first on the ticket list and given free first class travel.
It may be missing a comma but it’s nice to see a legitimate ’should of.’

Perhaps I shouldn’t have written this.
  • Don’t think we will bother with this now, the 5.30 ko makes it a pretty pricey one and rather save my pennies for the away play off leg.

Went to both the Brighton and Burnley games....not the Luton one though.

Might be another 40 years before you get the chance to go there with Charlton again? :)

But he’ll always have that special scarf to remind him of the love in.

God, don't you just hate these second division upstarts...should they be lucky enough to cadge a promotion, I shall take great delight in watching them fail miserably, to the point of cheering on Millwall...😫...as they get relegated again...😂

I mean , who gives a fuck about some Hollywood tinselled tinpot Welsh club who are doing well for them  (although plenty said we’d finish above them at the start of the season , saying we had a better squad )
cheering the scum on is a straight red
  • If nobody gives a fuck why so many comments on here?
  • The threads about selling out The Valley and a massive attendance that happened cos of Wrexham , I don’t get the 🥩 towards them just cos they’ve got a bit of personality and are doing well , for them , I do object to us selling half and half scarves in The club shop but that would be for any other club .

    Might be another six months

Fair enough, maybe a bit far with that one, but the rest I stand by...
