Was it just me who thought Ramsay's booking for time wasting was ridiculously harsh?
Ref only seemed to care about timewasting when it was Charlton doing it.

Wait what is this... The long range guns are firing off the coast of Hastings? - There is to be no Easter resurrection for Northampton... and I may have missed this one, but still...

    Northampton you've been SUNK!!

Three assists in four for Aneke
And so nearly a 4th, played a lovely short ball to Mbick, defender just got a foot to it, otherwise I reckon the boy would have tucked it away. Flash of the old Chuks there, mayhem in the box. NJ has obviously drummed into him that assists are just as valuable as goals from him, but I think he has a goal in him between now and season end, when and wherever it ends.
Chuks is not 2021 Chuks and is a league one player.

But Chuks is still impacting every game and helping the squad, and I’m glad we have him in the squad. He wasn’t great today; but I don’t think we would have won today without him.

McIntyre is a sobering reminder of just how badly one shit CB can affect a team's performance.

Chuks scoring a late winner against Burton to confirm 2nd place would be a wonderful way to finish the season.

well this one is the Iowa and its from the same class so its one of four
Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri, Wisconsin- the last was still active in 1992 and all four are preserved if you wanna go see, but they don't do this anymore as it tends to rattle too many windows.

Especially when the game was 1-1, the amount of time wasting from them and the ref done nothing.

The refs at this level seem to be there to destroy our sanity.
  • Kevin Nolan says the ref didn't regard the pen incident as a goal scoring opportunity.

McIntyre and I think Watson can be included in that are players who you can bring in and they will usually do a job for you but they are not players you want to play for a sustained period.

Poor referee again….gotta get out of this division….shit stadiums and crowds….
Thought he was one of the best this season. Knew when players were hurt and played on with them on the floor, and knew what a foul was eg didn’t fall for any player just going down on any old contact eg Godden. There were no goalkeeper timeouts!

Poor game but great attendance the home end and some in the west where getting behind the team despite the performance.Felt we were lethargic in midfield yesterday and we're struggling to get to second balls,it needed changing quicker imo as despite Berry's finish he does start to go missing in games in second halfs. Docherty and Coventry weren't providing much either going forward, felt it needed Anderson in there but we got the points in the end despite the absolute cnut of a ref one the worst I've seen all season.

I had no idea Tariq Fosu played for them until he was substituted. He was an excellent player for us not that long ago yet doesn’t seem to register any form of hate / like association when our paths crossed. It’s like he never played for us

Yeah it was odd for a former player not to receive acknowledgement, be that positive or negative. He remains the last player to score a League hat trick for us, I believe.

He's basically now Tariq fossil to Charlton fans :)

Am I wrong in thinking that Mannion should’ve be claiming that ball?

Yes look at the highlights the ball was driven in quite flat and fast plus the player was marked up it's on mcintyre for the brain fart.

Then, he should’ve be punching it.

He caught nearly everything all game and even would have struggled getting to the punch imo what next he should have scored a free kick from 30 yards out ? the defender messed up and gave away a pen instead of heading it.

Need Gillesphey back for Monday. Seen a few comments questioning why Alex Mitchell isn’t playing, he’s not comfortable with the ball playing on his favoured right hand side, him at left centre back would be a disaster. Unfortunately if Gillesphey isn’t available then it will have to be McIntyre again

Good point about the West. I've moved from the Covered End to J in the west and the atmosphere is excellent. A good mix of young and old making a lot of noise.

Best bit the ref did was at the end of the match after the melee and time wasted on that he hardly added on anything and blew up really quick .
