The press needs to be on point here. Really put it on them and be that nasty, hard to play against team that we have seen. If we can do that then I think we will be okay. Also, think if we get the first goal, we can pick them off.

Also getting TC to run at EOC will be a complete mismatch. The defence is a fairly slow in general so pace could be a factor for us.

Naturally would settle for a 1-0 win but ideally want a result that's comfortable enough so it doesn't cause a heart attack! Nervous already tbf!

    2-1 Charlton (Godden and Campbell)
This is why I'd play Anderson if Berry can't start. And Kanu off the bench to press a defence hopefully tired out by TC and Godden could create an opportunity too. I haven't watched them for a while but their creativity used to come from their WB's and I can see Edwards and Ramsay dealing with them well.

Small, Ramsay and Kanu didn't feature last time out and we were still playing a 4-box-2. They still had Palmer and Mullin up top and a different make up of midfield. This game will be a totally different tactical proposition to the last one but I would bet it's going to be a very physical game with a bit of edge to it
Palmer was good for them last time round. Wrexham dont really rate Rodriguez and see him as massively past it.

They've done well with some of the other senior pros they've brought in for one final contract. Fletcher (38) and McClean (36) both have done well, so I guess Parky saw Rodriguez (35) as similar.
  • On the absolute off chance anybody here is at Woburn Center Parcs on Saturday, head to the sports bar where there will be a group of us Addicks watching from the side screens which are showing the game.
  • can't even contemplate a miracle win and needing to play around with my tranny next week

    3-0 to the welsh wizards
    What’s theire name?
  • 2-0 to them. After the Lord mayor's from us, with our guys also nervous in front of the bigger crowd,  proving there's a lack of nouse for the big occasion and undermining any play off hopes. Backing this heavily on William Hill.com to win favour of the football gods.
  • 3-1 away win, Godden with two, and Gillesphey.

Going for another 0-4 win, would be happy with 0-3...maybe not so comfortable as Wycombe, but we should take the lead early on, repel all boarders after that until finishing them off with late goals...and why not!

  • Nervous as hell already here !!! I honestly cant call this game it really could go either way it depends which team deal with the occasion better. If we deal with it and play to our abilities then we win simple as that, we are man for man the better team COYRS
  • Us playing last definitely affects things, as the Wycombe and Stockport games could add extra pressure onto us, and especially Wrexham. If both of them win, the table at 5:30 will be

    Wycombe 45    87
    Wrexham 44     86
    Stockport 45    84
    Charlton  44     82

  • 0-1 Charlton - late winner

I can’t help thinking that our performance on Saturday will pale into insignificance come 3pm. That aside all I will say is do your best, Charlton. Get that win and head into the play-offs with confidence and momentum. If we have to get promotion at Wembley, then so be it. COME ON L’ORIENT, COME ON CHARLTON … BELIEVE!!!
  • Short of a broken leg, I'm sure Lloydie will play. Mbick to come on, frighten their defence as much as he does ours, and bag a brace. 0-2 to leave them needing to win on last day at Lincoln.

  • I'm not particularly nervous about tomorrow.
If we lose we're in the playoffs, which in December looked impossible.
If we win and Wycombe lose I will be more nervous as then it will be in our own hands and we'll be favourites and the expectation adds to the pressure.
Hopefully I'll be very nervous next Saturday. 😬

    Bigger crowd?
  • Need Wycombe to do their part 1st…🙏🏻

It has been quite funny today I live in North Wales and it has been all over Facebook today asking people to come to the game tomorrow dressed in clown outfits to show NJ a circus lol
So they are agreeing the whole charade is a circus...🤡
We will have the last laugh though...
  • The fixture compiler is a genius, L1 comes to a conclusion in the last 2 weeks with all the promotion hunters colliding in one way or another and Lincoln holding a key role against Stockport (a) then with Wrexham (h), you couldna make it up
We'll beat Wetham and then beat Burton, while Wetham will lose to us and then Lincoln and we get auto promotion as Lincoln and Orient beat Stockport  .. just watch
