For those familiar with the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary, ‘The Turf’ is the featured pub, next to the ground (good luck getting in there!).
I really wasn’t aware, that Thomas Sandgaard, had become an investor!16 -
If we have a full compliment, I think that we could win this 2-0. Fingers crossed.
I want a sell-out party atmosphere for the Burton match.

I'm thinking we'll have to do it via the playoffs. It's a shame we didn't start our good form 2 or 3 games earlier. After the shite first half of the season, how strange is it that if results don't go our way tomorrow, we'll be disappointed to miss out on automatic promotion.
Success breeds anxiety in football.

Hope the team are better prepared for this game than me 🙈9

I think we need to proritise defensive stability but have attacking intent and we'll get one or two. I think this is how we set up against Wycombe.0

CHARLTON!

Picture the scene, it’s been a long day, thankfully trains working ok getting into Chester.
At 11:07pm last night, after climbing into bed to rest my weary head, I said to the missus, can you hear that din going past the hotel, she said no, what din…..
Well,
When the samba rhythm starts to play,
dance with me, make me sway
Tyreece Campbell running down the wing
scoring goals, makes the Charlton sing
you know the rest….11 -
In the interest of fair play towards the chaps in the Big Top here’s a helpful chart for those Wrexham fans reading the forum. Wrexham, like the other teams in L1, will know the ‘obvious’ goal scoring threat from Charlton is Godden and TC so they’ll do the usual thing of doubling up on each of them, probably adding a third in TC’s case if they follow the usual pattern, which is probably why the majority of Charlton’s goals are coming from everybody else who will be on the pitch today and who are finding themselves unmarked as a result. Maybe for today’s game Wrexham should try not marking Godden and TC, just a suggestion. 0-2 to the Addicks, Gillesphey and the Skipper.

Hopefully Jones and Berry are fit. Although if Coventry and TC are on their game we will have a chance of winning0

Been awake 2 and half hours already - 5.30 seems a long way off, particularly as i'm home alone atm - don't feel nervous about the game at all - a win and the autos going down to the last day is a bonus and the fall back of the play offs and the excitement that comes with that is all good - the next 2-5 games are all massively exciting and that's what we all want from football - give me this over the boredom that say west ham fans must have been going through this season any day - if we fail to go up, i'm pretty sure we'll have another good go at it next year - enjoy the football, enjoy the booze, enjoy our rivals hopefully losing, have a laugh with friends and family, enjoy the day - the only effort today is how long i can go before the first pint - COYR!!!!!13

The level of confidence on this thread is unnatural, disturbing, immoral and just downright wrong. What the hell has got into everyone?7

Neutrals want to see a proper club promoted, not a plastic bankrolled circus.
I can assure you of this: if you can win tomorrow, every player and supporter of Lincoln City will be busting a gut on the final day. The game is already a sellout, and Sincil Bank can be a really hostile place for the wrong team.0 -

Clearly we want to win.
However I never expected to be this high up after Crawley at home.
So if we lose, the positive is that we face a mini play off tournament in good form, and have the Burton game to play as preparation for that tournament, sort out fitness, protect players, give fringe players minutes, try a few things.
The team that will be the most ‘down’ if they don’t finish in the top two will be Wycombe or Wrexham more than us.1 -

I really don’t feel good about this this morning
i felt tense before Wycombe but my expectation of managing to win both games was low and I felt comfort in the relative proximity to escape quickly home and look to the play offs (and possibly bail out of today too)
I have a deep sense that I’m going over the top today and in for a painful defeat, watching arseholes celebrate, stranded miles from home and left worried about the chances of an injury hit squad managing to keep going through the play offs
please lads, prove me wrong I don’t need a Wycombe-esque trouncing just give any sort of a win8 -
Going to the pub to watch the game and only just twigged that it’s the bloody FA cup… hopefully at least 1 screen can be for us!0
-
ONCE upon a time we would wipe a Circus or Team like Wrexham away with Total ease.
we are Charlton Athletic and we are a Big Team
with a great History and a fantastic stadium.
and a magnificent and Loyal Fan Base
we should win today and we should be promoted this season 👍👍👍👍
COYR ❤️❤️❤️❤️0 -
Will be going to the pub in Greenwich. They'd better fuckin show it0
-
I went through Green St Green in Dartford this morning, thought I had got lost and driven past Wrexham by mistake
21 -
I was very sceptical that we had any chance of 2nd this time a weekend ago, but after battering Wycombe and with Wrexham stuttering a little we’ve got a real chance today. Let’s do it lads.0
-
I can't find the post now, but concur with whoever said refereeing is a big worry. Really hope it's not some twat who does their best to ruin the game/push Wrexham on.
Also make Oohaah right... this build-up simply has disappointment written all over it, especially after the Wycombe thrashing (and the fact I'm travelling up there and was not at Wycombe!)
Expect the worst and you will not be disappointed when it comes down to the rip roaring Addicks! Anything better is a bonus!!
Never-the-less, sing up and COYR.3 -
Clowns 1 Addicks 4.
Orient to scrape draw with Wycombe.
Addicks 3 Menswear FC 0
The AppyAddick family together at Appys sons wedding in Greenwich go mental...
We can dream eh ❤️😊🍺5 -
Without Jones and Berry I can see us losing this one. Especially if McIntrye is playing. Someone like Fletcher will bully him.2
