Playoff games - ticketing.

Home leg and Wembley you’ll be fine with a purchase history. Away, you are in with a decent chance if you have valley gold, depending on allocation/distance to travel/ kick off time/whether it’s still 2 tickets per person etc etc, . Nothing personal at all, but this just shows how crazy it is that IF it’s 2 per person as usual and valley gold is high up the order, you could get her a ticket and she has only ever been to the Valley TWICE !! As I say nothing personal, as that’s the system …2

I've ruined it for everyone by looking up the date for the playoff final despite my superstitious mind telling me not to. Sorry0

Is it through the club or from Wembley direct?
OK I know I'm jumping the gun but best to be prepared!

Now that it is Play Offs confirmed, should the club be putting the tickets on sale for season ticket holders to buy their seats/tickets this week, to take a bit of pressure off the system next week once the fixture is confirmed?3

Ticket allocations should be ST holders get theirs for the home game and Wembley if we get through, then priority based on points after that and and for the away game with extra points being given to anyone buying a ticket for this Saturday’s game.4

We sell season tickets long before a fixture list comes out, and this is no different6 -

Surely the benefit of online ticketing is that this will just work as normal?
There will be a window to claim your ST seat and then an open / staged window based on points? No need to go early I wouldn’t have thought with risk some are obliged to buy without knowing their plans / commitments.1 -
I assume they will open the east (AC) stand fully?1

So apologies in advance if you are, but Why should people who are turning up for this game get any additional priority above those that have been going all season? Unless you are going to give all season ticket holders an additional 15 points to match it.Let’s be honest if they haven’t been going 25 points is meaningless. It’s the same every time when people who haven’t been going regularly want a ticket for a big game they come up with ideas that suit them and penalise those that have been going regularly over the past couple of seasons ( in most cases much longer)
There’s a loyalty system in place for exactly that reason, it’s for fans who have been loyal over the past couple of seasons. If we are having wish lists I would make it for at least the past five years and although a member take off Valley Gold as no doubt when the tickets for the away leg come up that boring ‘why should Valley Gold get priority’ debate will start again.
i know some people can’t get season tickets for certain reasons work, illness etc and can’t get to the points totals. The loyalty scheme is in place and has been for the past few years. everyone who goes should know the rules how many tickets they can buy etc it’s not going to change for one game.10 -
Once details are announced then season ticket seats should be held for two days and then put on sale to others. If we are at home first leg then it’s only five days between Burton and the home leg meaning those that want their tickets posted out are just hoping they arrive on time.
I can’t see an issue with saying ‘if we finish fifth the home leg will be on Saturday 10th, kick off to be agreed, and if we finish third or fourth the home leg will be Wednesday 14th (for example), kick off to be agreed’. ‘Tickets will go on sale tomorrow with opponents, date and time to be announced in due course’. Then those of us who will be going irrespective of date, time and opponents can buy early so alleviating stress to the ticketing system and staff as sales won’t be restricted to a five day period only.

I'm pretty sure the tickets for the Swindon home leg didn't have an opponent printed on it.0

Seriously though why should someone be able to stump up £60 up front just to get themselves ticketing priority? Personally I’d say you had to be a member for a full year before you get such an entitlement.
Don’t split hairs.
Priority tickets should be based on your back history not a future promise.
In the past, there were requirements to show ticket stubs to prove how many matches you’d been to.
Then again, this is 2025. He who pays more, gets more. Everything counts in large amounts.0 -
We should put the away fans in the upper west south and have the Jimmy Seed Stand for home fans as well .11

Am I remembering right that last time we had half the JS? Was that only because Doncaster couldn't sell their allocation?1

What's the rule re: reducing how many tickets we offer away fans? If Reading aren't involved, we will be only club offering a 3k plus away allocation, right behind the goal which naturally helps the away team.
Can we reduce and mirror what we will be allocated in the reverse fixture?2 -
Just wondering what would happen this year. For Wycombe to sell out the JS for example they’d need to take about 50% of their usual home fans. Granted it’s not a long trip and play offs but they only brought 1500 earlier in the season0

The club cannot practically segregate the upper west for 2,000 away fans as it would compromise the exit routes.3 -
Jesus. Here we are again. People moaning about ticket allocations & priority. Round & round we go.....4

I suspect there are a variety of factors
- How many home fans will buy tickets (ala Doncaster, offer 3k, if they don't sell out, segregate the JS)
- Policing
- min rules from EFL (10% of capacity is a number I have seen quotred, so we would need to offer 2.7k initially in this case)1 -
