Playoff games - ticketing.

I suspect there are a variety of factors
- How many home fans will buy tickets (ala Doncaster, offer 3k, if they don't sell out, segregate the JS)
- Policing
- min rules from EFL (10% of capacity is a number I have seen quotred, so we would need to offer 2.7k initially in this case)

The rules now specify 2,000 minimum or 10% of capacity if lower, so 2,700 isn’t relevant.

35.7 Facilities for visiting supporters 35.7.1

 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time. Each Club shall, subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, make provision for at least 200 of the visiting supporters (of which not less than 100 must be seats) to be accommodated under cover. Any Club which fails to meet the requirement of 200 visiting supporters being accommodated under cover and which does not have a dispensation granted by the Board shall have such amounts as the Board shall determine (in its absolute discretion) withheld from that Club’s central distributions from the Pool Account until such time as the Club can meet the requirement.

The only issue for me is how many tickets season ticket holders can buy. If I did miss out on a Wembley final I’d be fairly pissed off reading account of people taking their mates who support other clubs.

The people wanting a drink in Bartram`s will be pleased let alone those wanting to use the turnstiles for the lower west south.

Seriously though why should someone be able to stump up £60 up front just to get themselves ticketing priority? Personally I’d say you had to be a member for a full year before you get such an entitlement.

How would that work ? the membership is only valid for 1 year at a time... so the day youd be entitled to tickets your membership would run out 😝.

Don’t split hairs.

 Priority tickets should be based on your back history not a future promise. 

In the past, there were requirements to show ticket stubs to prove how many matches you’d been to.

Then again,  this is 2025. He who pays more, gets more. Everything counts in large amounts.
