  • Forest are at home on Sunday? Theyre not playing same day as County...
County should also be playing on Sunday which is why it’s all been swapped

    Fuck Sky
  • Lucky it's Wycombe really, getting back from Manchester on a Sunday evening would have been very tricky
  • Forest v Leicester. What a crowd puller…

To be fair it's a PL game and it was already scheduled for Sunday, so it's not a surprise that League Two Notts County have to move their game.

tbf its an East Midlands derby.
  • So our game could be moved to the Sunday?

Won't that clash with Songs of Praise ?  Look out for Harry Seacombe being on the blower about it
  • Only just realised that finishing 4th means I'm home from my holiday on Thursday the 15th so can make the home leg. Buzzing.

I was thinking of the TV appeal rather than the local interest. Leicester already relegated and Forest plunging down the table like a post-40-points Addicks circa 2005...
  • Just seen that Wycombe will be without Scowen.

I don't like to celebrate bad news, but that's one of their better players.

  • Bit of a result for me - was going to be on a long haul flight over Saturday evening and wouldn’t know the score until a couple of hours after it was all done.

    Now I can watch it.
  • Can someone explain why the days on which east midlands clubs affects us?

I understand that the two Nottingham clubs can't play on the same day but why does that mean that we have to change day?

Are Notts County now playing on Saturday at 8pm?

Because the play offs can't clash for the TV. We have swapped dates with Notts County

Yes, they (Sky) want each playoff game to have an individual time slot - not have two ongoing at the same time. So they switched the Saturday and Sunday evening games to get Notts Co off the Sunday slot.
  • That happened to us last time when we were in the play offs as Sunderlend could not play their match on the scheduled date due to a marathon being routed past the stadium so our day was changed.
  • Can anyone confirm that the 1st leg away fixture versus Wycombe on Sunday 11th is going to be shown on Sky TV? I've tried to look at Skys schedules to see which Sky channel and its showing a L2 Playoff. I'm assuming thats because the Notts County game was moved?
  • I can’t confirm with any evidence, but I’m 100% sure that Sky will show it.
