Will We Win the Playoffs?

Even if he is he doesn't get in ahead of Coventry, Docherty, Berry, Anderson or Gilbert, and I can't imagine we'd need a 6th central midfielder in the 185
-
And he wouldn’t be up to speed seeing as he hasn’t been in the team for 5 months.0

As a neutral, I’d have you lot as favourites0

He will be match sharp, and I don't think he will have much issue fitting in.
Would be a very welcome back addition, and after watching our other striking options than Godden and TC, I'd have to say Chuks would be as well. At least we can play longball with Chuks.
TT still ahead of Karoy for me.0 -
I don't want to sound overconfident, as Wycombe have some quality players, and some would be welcome here, but I just think we have their number a bit.
I think they've made a poor managerial choice, I think we will have the mental edge after stuffing them twice, and I don't think they'll generate an atmosphere at home like Wrexham did to make a difference like we will.
I think Stockport will just edge past Leyton Orient. Stockport just seem a bit more street wise to me, and have the better overrall squad and manager.
Us and Stockport in the finals I'm predicting, and I do genuinely think it's a coin toss. Hopefully ours on the day. But a very strong play-off competition and whoever goes up, will thoroughly deserve it. No easy wins at Wembley here.2 -

There's a chance that the greater support from the stands will give our lads a boost.0 -

I’m not taking anything for granted. Wycombe will be a different team to the one we faced on Easter Monday. We have two very tough matches in front of us, IMO.9

Anyone got a clip of after full time at Wycombe , sure I saw one on here from’X’ or whatever
NJ was definitely 🥩y and blanked (refused to shake hands) one of the Wycombe coaching staff , think it may have been their manager looking at pic of him on that link0 -

As I mentioned earlier our record in big-attendance home games was poor with performances to match (the 2019 semi-final with Donny may have been a cracking match and atmosphere but we lost the game!) but the last two matches - Northampton on Good Friday and Burton on Saturday - shew that these players can perform in front of a large Charlton crowd and, in Saturday's case, lift themselves after an early setback.
The fans believe in this side now and if we go a goal down they'll get behind the players to lift them ... the more the merrier.3 -
Slim chance we get through against Wycombe. They only have to defend effectively to nullify us and then grab a goal over the two legs.
More importantly i don't think there's any signs our team can handle a big occasion in front of a bigger crowd with a bit of tension. For these reasons i am boycotting these games but i hope everyone has fun and we somehow pull it off.8 -

If you’re Wycombe Wanderers, surely you have to look at your defensive record prior to the drubbing & tell yourself that in a play-off situation you need to keep it tight & use everything you learnt from that game, and believe you can nick the tie by a goal.I reckon two wars of attrition are coming up & Wycombe will hope Kone can find his early season form & nick a goal. Then we can all berate Golfie with clean sheets may not win titles, but they do win play-offs!3

The same Wycombe we’ve beaten twice. The same Wycombe that have lost their last 3 games.
We’re playing Wycombe Wanderers not PSG!Of course it won’t be easy, but to say we have a slim chance of getting through is just being ridiculously negative.7 -

I can't understand following a football team, then when they get to play off semi final and a potential final at Wembley, your decision is to boycott.6

In our 'big crowd' home games this season, Birmingham, Wrexham, Wigan, Huddersfield, Northampton, Burton, we're unbeaten.4 -

NJ has peppered the team with players who have experience in the playoffs, their guidance to the younger players will be an important factor.2

And as well as you mention about our missed pens it also would rely on reliable takers like Godden not to miss. I agree if any of our games go to pens we're done for.1
