Chester and Maidstone through to the finals today. So confirmed finals are now:
North: Scunthorpe Vs Chester
South: Boreham Wood Vs Maidstone2 -
Three former league clubs in those finals.0

Good watch these games TBH.
How Maidstone nailed that one against Eastbourne with 10 men?
Looking forward to the finals.2 -
Thing is, the amount of people that would rather watch a non existent PL game.
Spent most the weekend in the garden with a few beers and watching from home.
Coat on for the Maidstone game today0 -
At a packed Princes Park. With the shambles over ticket sales, it will be " interesting" what happens if Dover score...0

Second half Dartford were poor. Lucky to still have their goalkeeper on the pitch.
Not that he was up to much.0 -
Saw Hanworth Villa beat Ascot to get to the p/o final, 750 crowd, shame they lost to Uxbridge in final. Saw Bedfont beat Harefield to gain promotion to Hanworth Villas division.
Really enjoying local non-league.1 -

A 1994 Peter Schmeichel Vs Kim Grant moment by the keeper, madness.0 -
1,500 at Uxbridge yesterday. That's an amazing attendance for them.2

Dagenham and Redbridge relegated to National League South.
It is interesting how clubs go down the leagues eventually. I cannot see them ever getting back in the league. Our loss there in 2011 remains my worst moment as a Charlton fan. In contrast Barnet are back in L2 next season.
It appears Michael Hector has prioritised playing in the Baller League and only played twice for Daggers.1 -
And due to this rumours are going around that Hemel Hempstead will ply their trade in the National League North next season.0

Went VCD playoff final today where they beat Fisher 2-1 with a 90th min winner. Shit game but decent crowd for that level.1

Same thing happened a couple of years back with Bishops Stortford going to the NLN from the Isthmian because of an imbalance of teams. They promptly lost most of their players for travel reasons.0

Even though an unhappy Ebbsfleet fan, i am glad Dagenham and particularly Maidenhead came down also.
For some bizarre reason, several Maidenhead fans came up to me last season at the game and stated their grudge goes back during covid when they stayed up and we went down over some 0.001 or something goal average when the seasons were finished early and they stayed up.
You would have thought it would be the opposite.3 - Sponsored links:

A very honest & sad interview with Gateshead's captain below, surprisingly broadcast by the clubs media department.

Dartford manager has signed on for another season, which is good as he seemed a bit undecided in a post match interview after the Dover game. Hopefully the Darts can press on a little and build on the overall progress this season.3

Saw the semi at home where Hanworth saw off Ascot.
Also, saw Bedfont Sports gain promotion v Hare field on the Saturday1 -

Doesn’t appear to have been much happening in the 1st half of the Boreham Wood v Maidstone NLS final:

Old boy Charles Clayden puts Boreham Wood one nil up1

It's now 16 days since Jersey Bulls had their appeal rejected and yet the play offs for that division still haven't started.0
