Which is stupid, we haven't had VAR at this level all season, so why not use it in the semi if you're using it in the final? Or better yet just don't use it at allEr_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:Commentary team mentioning that the playoff final will have VAR.4 -
Wtf are you watching mate?MrOneLung said:I don’t think it is conclusive the orient player got a touch. Certainly not from the positions of the officials so they have to give benefit of the doubt1 -
seen the replays. It was flicked on by the Orient forward. at the time I thought that but wasn't sure.0

Without doubt the worst off side decision I have ever seen. If that was against us in such an important game NJ would be the only one to self combust0

Still got 1 more year on his contract.cafc4life said:Disgraceful that. Miles off3 -
Donley grabs Hills’ hairband off his head and runs away with it lol0
-
Oooh Donley just wide0

To be fair to the ref and lino, that must’ve been very difficult to spot in real time. And looking at the angle the lino had, I don’t think he could have seen the change of the path of the ball.
Unfortunate for Stockport.

Don't know where the lino was, but he weren't in east london!1 -
That goal was a fantastic advert for VAR5

REG I think is a reasonably average player, Clare is also ok when used in his normal position. DJ is shite but not in the team.sam3110 said:Still find it mad that a club with Clare, REG, DJ and Pratley in it are in the playoffs0 -
Maybe for the ref, but It's clear from the side view so linesman had to have seen the path of ball changed before it reached Kelman.MrOneLung said:I don’t think it is conclusive the orient player got a touch. REG takes a ball to the face0

Isn’t that the whole point of their headsets? Worked well in Sheffield united game. Ref should see the flick and the Lino should then confirm he’s offsidelordromford said:To be fair to the ref and lino, that must’ve been very difficult to spot in real time. He's the linesman insteadkillerandflash said:No Pratley in the 18. Clare and REG start for Orient with DJ on the bench.5 -
Also REG has been promoted before I believe.0

Yes with Rotherham in 2022balham red said:Also REG has been promoted before I believe.0 -
Based on this, I'd much rather player Orient if we get past Wycombe. Think our style is a bad match up for Orient.
Will be painfully tight vs Stockport.4 -

Ollie Norwood is still a very good player isn’t he0

atmosphere seems rather flat0

Would Bauer’s goal have stood if we’d had VAR in 2019?2

Would Rufus' goal v Sunderland?EveshamAddick said:Would Bauer’s goal have stood if we’d had VAR in 2019?
Would Maradona's Hand of God goal?
Would Geoff Hurst's 1966 goal?
All academic questions.1 -
Early kick-off and a first leg. Atmosphere in the first leg will never be as good as the second.Karim_myBagheri said:atmosphere seems rather flat
It's literally night and day.0 -
Just thinking the jury is still out on whether VAR helps or hinders…Off_it said:

Well yeah, but I think it was just one of those cases where in real time neither of them could be sure of the flick on. It’s an error, but you can see how it happened.Red_Chester said:

It’s obviously the sort of thing VAR would address, but as we’ve seen, VAR comes with loads of bullshit too.0 -
IMO yeah.EveshamAddick said:Would Bauer’s goal have stood if we’d had VAR in 2019?
If you mean the slight pull back then i see it as no different when that tall forward for millwall scored a late goal against us and was all over our full back. Still would of given it as a goal.0
