WTF was REG doing there lol0

No open play goals for either side - really shows the importance of set pieces in the play offs.0

Whether it’s deliberate or not is irrelevant, intent isn’t mentioned in the lawswords_alive said:
Not for me either. Clearly falling back, non deliberate and little to no advantage gained. Just one of those things. Puts me off the game as a whole those being given.bolloxbolder said:
Seems only you can see it was not a pen.cafcnick1992 said:
It wasn't unnatural though - his arm was raised up because he was falling backwardsGammon said:
It stopped a goal and his hand is by his head I think a penalty but no card is the fairest thingfenaddick said:Harsh because it’s so close but in the laws it’s a handball. The law is wrong but it’s what has to be played to1 -
FT 2-21

2 - 2 FT0

Great game of Football for the neutral
Now lets hope that the Away side make it as boring a shite with four quick goals tomorrow!!0 -
I hope our game isn't that exciting, my heart won't cope 😂6
-
Stockport v Charlton was an arm wrestle where the ball hardly played any part; this has been end to end and from what I have seen a fair result despite two wrong decisions. 2-2 and Stockport remain favourite's for this semi.0

Watching that 2nd half it’s no wonder NJ shipped REG out of the door0
-
That's that.0

not a bad game. Plenty of poor decisions. Lots of room on the wings for both sides. Orient could and really should of won it in the end.1
-
Kelman saying that he's spoken with EFL Players who have been there and done it, like Matty Godden to improve his movement in front of goal.2
-
Kelman shouting out Godden there in his interview2
-
Looked ok, both sides created some openings and a draw about right, still feel we would have the beating of both of them on our day...0
-
A draw will do. Hopefully, they'll kick lumps out of each other in the 2nd leg and Orient come out on top.2

I know accidental isn't a factor in the laws but this is what we end up- pens like that. If i had any skin in this particular game i'd be pretty upset by that but it can happen any time. Soft pens are undesirable regardless of the laws.fenaddick said:

Decent post-match interview with Beckles and Kelman. Relaxed and honest.1
-
That was such a fantastic interview by Kelman and Beckles. The lack of media training there is quality, just owning the offside goal and saying how blatant it was 😂2
-
Hopefully if we go up, Godden can put in a good word. Could be a great successor to Goddenfenaddick said:Kelman shouting out Godden there in his interview2 -

When Kelman scores a hattrick to beat us at Wembley, it'll all be Godden's fault!ForeverAddickted said:Kelman saying that he's spoken with EFL Players who have been there and done it, like Matty Godden to improve his movement in front of goal.12 -
I like how Beccles basically said VAR is shit and football is better without it in that interview.1

You have to fancy Stockport in the second leg, as Edgeley Park for an evening game will be a really tough place to go. That open away terrace drains away the atmosphere from the away fans, while the home fans are really loud.2
-
That game was exhausting to watch and it wasn't even our game.2
-
Play off games are usually tight. Especially first legs. Yet they’ve all been over 2.5 so far.0

Though somehow he didn't sound convincing about whether he was fouled - "was it? there was contact and I don't dive". Well, you should know then shouldn't you mate?ForeverAddickted said:Kelman saying that he's spoken with EFL Players who have been there and done it, like Matty Godden to improve his movement in front of goal.0 -
Orient won 4-1 up there in September, so no reason why they can't win again.killerandflash said:You have to fancy Stockport in the second leg, as Edgeley Park for an evening game will be a really tough place to go. bit like a batsman not knowing whether or not they nicked it.Off_it said:

Charlie Kelman is 23 years old and had 19 caps for the USA U19's. Great this season with 21 from 46 games and yet the QPR player had to go out on loan to league 1 to turn into a goal scoring forward. Does the Basildon born Charlie have an American accent ? as he was at an academy in Dallas before coming back to Southend to join their Youth squad.
Didn't hear the interview but he reminds me of a Godden but 10 years his Junior.
Edit: Just heard Kelman's interview against Mansfield when he scored his 21st goal and more of an English accent and he hoped the Orient fans remember him with pleasure when he goes; back to QPR in the Championship I would assume for the 25/26 season.0 -
The home fans are in the railway end in the second leg.killerandflash said:You have to fancy Stockport in the second leg, as Edgeley Park for an evening game will be a really tough place to go.
