Seems that Sheff Utd havent won at Wembley since 1925

Going to be a brutal Final at Wembley if they face Sunderland, who have only the one Play-Off Final win, and never in the Championship, its a game they'll somehow both lose.
I will root for Sunderland just on my own history with their fans after defeat.

They seem to be forever in the Championship. Not knocking them
There is a long term ongoing joke going on, on Social Media, about the fact that its nearly always Bristol City and Preston North End that are fighting for 12th in the Championship.
Preston! Yeh they're another one I forgot about. Millwall will be joining them soon  :/
This is why it irks me some of our fans giving it the biggun to Wycombe. Going on the last 15 years, Millwall are the Championship level club, whilst we are League One!!

    Bristol City, poor sods. 6-0.
They can regroup in the second set though.
This joke would work so much better if it was Wimbledon :D

My grandad always said that the Second World War cut Millwall down and they never recovered. Because before the war they were a well supported club with money to spend on good players, knocking on the door of the First Division. After the war they had to ground share, whilst repairing The Den, sliding all the way down to become founders of Division Four. All at a time (50s to 60s) when clubs were establishing their status within the pyramid.

The last 15 years have been brutal for Charlton as a club & fanbase. But it can still be recovered by winning these play-offs imo. We may even look back & chuckle at some of the mad goings ons, but only if we are back to where we belong as club - a decent second tier side with hopes of promotion to the top flight through hardwork & a sprinkle of local talent.

Might have been restricted to the Championship, but just seen a stat on SKY saying there have been 64-occasions where the home team has lost the 1st leg.

There have been 10-times where they've come from behind to reach the Final!!

Would like whoever wins this to go on and beat Sheffield United.

    Preferably Sunderland.

Just switched this on and it said Cov were winning 2-1 and the tie was 3-3 on aggregate. Looked away for a minute and suddenly it was 0-0 again!

I think all 4 were deserved yellows though to be fair to the referee

This has the feelings of a classic 2nd Leg in the Play-Offs especially if we get a Coventry goal.

just had a quick look on wikipedia to find out when Coventry left Highfield road (2005) and under the subject "rivals" Sunderland are one of them.

just read why. Coventry and Bristol played out a draw so Sunderland went down.

"The club has an unusual long-distance rivalry with North-East side Sunderland, which stems back to the end of the 1976–77 season, when Coventry, Sunderland and Bristol City were all battling against relegation from Division One on the final day of the season. With Coventry and Bristol City facing each other at Highfield Road, the referee, on the advice of the police, delayed the kick-off of the match by 15 minutes as many Bristol fans were still trying to enter the ground and there was a risk of serious trouble. Sunderland, who were playing away to Everton at the same time, lost 2–0, and the result was displayed on the Highfield Road scoreboard. There were still 15 minutes left to play and Coventry and Bristol City effectively stopped playing knowing that a 2–2 draw would keep both teams up and send Sunderland down. There was an inquiry but the result was allowed to stand and Sunderland were relegated. Some Sunderland fans have held a grudge, believing that then-Coventry chairman Jimmy Hill used his influence to delay the game and give his side an advantage, and there has been some rivalry more recently as the two clubs competed for promotion from League One together in 2018–19 and 2019–20. In 2018–19 crowd trouble marred the meetings between the two at The Ricoh Arena and The Stadium of Light leading to numerous arrests among both sets of fans."

Just don’t see Wycombe having the intensity that Coventry are showing, especially as they looked shot in the last 25 on Sunday
