  • Shame there has to be a loser but I do marginally favour Southend here as the southern club. Both fanbases should be back in the football league.
  • Just looked at the non league table.
The playoff system is a bit of a mess isn't it?
York who got knocked out earlier in the playoffs finished in second with 96 points.
Looks like Southend are going up finishing in 7th with 68 points!

My sister and brother-in-law go to watch Southend quite a bit, so for them I’m hoping they do it today.
  • Christ, Macauley Bonne is shit.
Even playing in a match full of pretty ordinary non league players, he’s looked out of place. And not in a good way.

Bonne slips whens shooting, rolling it into the keeper's hands. 90 seconds later Oldham equalise

A minute later and Oldham take the lead, with another ref going for a 💩

  • What a run for that side of Wembley. Every final this season?

Yeah he looked pretty terrible. He's out of contract this summer and i wonder where he'll end up next. Every season he drops down a league but is still awful.

Thanks Kap. Being a nerd I find this sort of stuff fascinating. I knew Dulwich were well supported but didn't realise how good. I also find The difference between high and low for each club interesting. For instance Cray Wanderers 2,008 v Dartford which was their only gate over 1,000, and in fact a low of 303. Almost certainly due to Dartford's travelling support when it looked like they would win the title. I could go on but bore everyone!
A similar grid for League 1 would be interesting.
  • Does make me wonder how sides survive at that level on 200-300 average gates when you have other clubs regularly pushing 2-3k.
  • Dulwich have been dismally underperforming on the pitch for the attendances they receive. Plus the beer money spent there every matchday.

Those stats are fascinating, I was one of the 412 people there as Dartford visited Wyngate & Finchley (who are local to me), to give Wyngate their highest attendance of the season!

Cray are not a well supported club.

Before their move gates at Bromley would normally be under 300, I have been when they have had sub 200.
  • Am I right  in thinking that the 4 play off finals all the teams fans housed in the West end won.
DFC is delighted to announce it has entered into a groundshare agreement with Halls Athletic for the 25/26 season.
The deal will see Southern Counties East League First Division side Halls – currently based in Erith – use Princes Park and its facilities on alternative match day weekends to Dartford’s first team.

With us sometimes playing U21 games there, not sure how well the pitch will cope?

  • As i passed Welling's ground this morning i noticed a roof being installed at the Park View Road end of the ground, similar to what was there a couple of seasons ago.
  • That’s the groundwork for the exec boxes
  • Southwark Council has given Dulwich Hamlet approval to build their new stadium on its land at Greendale, behind the current Champion Hill (they won planning permission a few years back, but the council owns the land and has now appropriated it so construction can start)

No dates/timescale yet but more announcements promised soon.
