  • Started yellowstone the other day as everyone I speak to has seen it. So glad I have started it. Currently halfway through season 2.
  • Is that the one with yogi bear?

    Goes rapidly downhill very soon.

Edit: actually, that’s not entirely true. It does go downhill, but progressively over time, so not that rapidly. The trouble is it also repeats itself over and over and features lazy, clichéd writing and shit characters.

Better than your average TV series!

    Top notch 😂
  • Has anyone seen “Sunderland ‘til I Die”.  Concerns the total passion and loyalty of Sunderland fans and is a documentary following fans after their demotion from the top league in the 1970’s.

I haven’t watched the programme yet but my daughter in law has just phoned up all excited because in the second series (which features the season after) a Charlton match is featured.  We were playing in yellow and lost 2-1.
That season opened with a win against us, and ended with them losing to us at Wembley, the second time that happened to them. As much as I love STID, and rate it as the best of all the football docs, I thought it was maddening that they didn't make a better arc from all of that. Quite the opposite, the producers hardly even acknowledged us as part of their story. Seemed like a missed opportunity for some really poetic football storytelling.
