Just checked and I’ve done less then 1800 miles on it since the frame was last replaced, surely that’s a low about to have a frame crack no?
Frames should never crack unless you've done something to cause the crack. My old S5 had 35,000 km on it before I wrote it off by shifting under load and sensing the rear mech into the chainstay. My new S5 has 18,000km on it with no issues.
It's just shit layup, and it's failed when you've put a bit of stress through it somewhere.

You may be lucky and get a decent one but QC on Orro frames is known in the industry to be poor. Yes 1,800 miles is a very low amount of mileage to have a crack appear (unless there has been an impact of some kind but in this case that doesn't appear likely).
And apologises but to further add to your woes Orro was the inhouse brand of UK distributor I-Ride who went bust at the end of last year, they've officially been absorbed into an investment company (Baaj Capital LLP) but from what I've seen and heard its been impossible to get through to anyone connected with Orro (which isn't a surprise as I-ride sacked all their staff). I would not be surprised if the Orro website mysteriously and quietly disappears in the next few months.
That being said good luck @buckshee and I'd been interested to know if you get anywhere with it!

That’s the thing, by the sounds of if I could pay that out and in six months time another one appears.
Update, I’ve just had an email back from Orro!!! Asked me to send over a few photos for review, fingers crossed eh. Even if they just replace it with another Orro frame.

I love my titanium bike, although I appreciate it will be too heavy for those who want ultimate performance. AKA "old man's carbon", and pretty much bombproof as well as comfy.
Spa Audax. It does have a carbon fork, which has lasted perfectly well for 8 years so far. Spa were a delight to deal with, and their own brand seems ridiculously cheap compared to other Ti bikes. A day return to Harrogate gives you the opportunity for a chat and a long test ride.
Yeah, I’m thinking of going back to metal next. Orro are trying to claim the damage has come from clamping but the only clamping I’ve done is on a stand and that was only on the seat post.
After being really quick with their responses they’ve now gone silent on me since Tuesday. They’ve offered me a frame at a ‘greatly reduced price’ but failed to say what that is and anyway I’d have to spend a fair bit getting it set up.
In the meantime the father in law is lending me his ten speed 105 carbon Ribble so at least I’m back on the road.
Been looking at a Ritchey road logic frame (possibly the breakaway version) to keep my ten speed rim brake stuff going. Itching for a custom Columbus or Ti but can't really justify that kind of spending on a frame incompatible with anything modern (wheels/brakes/cables)

I'm going to hijack this comment and share some pics of a restoration a friend is having done on a frame he bought in the seventies. Seriously drool worthy.
Luckily for me (though not for him) the father in law fell off a roof a couple of years back and now only rides indoors in his Wahoo trainer so I’ve been given a lend of his bike for now which will more than do.

Today is the second leg on his round the world bike trip raising funds for the Grenfell foundation, on the 8th anniversary of the tragedy. I'll be joining in on his stage today of Preston Circus in Brighton to Rye, before he heads to Dover tomorrow and the ferry.
