Just buy lots of Walkers crisps and Messi will sign promptly.
See...he had the right idea all along..... and he did have ambition.....

The local corner shop must have made a packet, or a mint!

Let’s not forget we can offer players extra week off
Maybe we can throw in a free trip to Butlins in the deals

Just the calibre of players we are rumoured with is enough for me at the minute. Kaminski, Burke, Olaofe, Famewo, etc. all very promising.
Really hope we get offiah through aswell gone a bit quiet on that front.
100% the best player I saw play against us last season

Gotta say buzzing with Kaminski, remember watching him in the prem a fair bit as I had him in the fantasy team never did I think two years later he’d be at Charlton. Shows how quick things can change in football.
Agreed nice to see the quality we can attract now and hopefully it continues,at 32 not a bad age for a keeper either think van de sar joined united at 34 and arguably had the best period of his career, not saying he's on that level but should get a good few years out of him, all going well.
The older the better imo, I would say that is even the perfect age for a keeper.

We all know goalkeepers have more longevity, and his experience will be invaluable. I also like having older players as it typically keeps the vultures away, you have a young shot stopper with international experience and they all circle.

More experienced/older signings like this and I will be happy 👍🏻

Purely speculative guesswork: If we're still looking for a big, strapping forward to lead our line (which I think we should be), Michael Smith feels like an incredibly NJ signing.

He led the line for Nathan in his U21 title-winning season, has been solid if unspectacular in the champ for a few seasons, will likely walk for nothing due to Wednesday's issues and is "experienced" (ie older than fans would ideally like.)

Some of our recent linked players make me think (hope) we might be fishing in a slightly bigger pond now, but his name came up as I was reading through Wednesday's squad problems and it just seemed to tick a lot of NJ boxes.

That's a true number 1 keeper. No doubts there. He goes straight in.

Wonder what it means for Mannion / Ash? Do we have 3 keepers in the champ?
AMB will definitely be off, would assume we would aim for a sale. Think injuries massively hampered his development and it is unlikely he'll be good enough to play in the Champ. Will get a good move to a high end L2/lower-mid L1 side
I would be staggered if we get a fee

He was very popular at Ross County - could be a possibility.

Arguably you'd want to keep Mannion over AMB as second choice, and I agree with your view. However, Mannion may feel that he wants first team football having been our number one this season. Will he be happy to sit on the bench? I could see both going...

By sale I just meant permanent move, think we could probably get a small fee and sell on clause but wouldn't be surprised to see if he want for free with a sell on clause either

Think AMB will go , maybe AFCW to replace Goodman? Probably get a small fee for him. Tommy Reid will be fine as the third GK.

Gassan Ahadme to Plymouth… from another seriously questionable Twitter account.
Weird as this one sounds, I looked her brother up:

    Pretty niche.

We need three keepers in the squad - No1, No2 and maybe an under 21 back-up. If we lose both AMB and WM we would need to recruit a new No2. For that reason I hope we keep one of them.

Especially as Sheff Wed have failed again paying staff .. all  their players will be free to walk out from July 17 ? on frees

Will Collar signs for MKD from Stockport - thought he would have been a decent signing.
In my world he should be signing for the Metropolitan Police

Could be wrong but haven’t some of their players been paid. ?

Anybody know any examples of players who transferred early in a window who later think ‘bollocks, I should’ve waited ‘till the last minute’?

I think AMB is out the door tbh, which i think is unfair on him but also the right thing to do from both sides. expect a decent fee + % of next fee as part of the deal

This isn't really a scoop in fact it's pretty far from it. I have just noticed that they have changed the squad on the website and have removed all of the old players. Hopefully, this is in preparation for some incoming signings.

There’s not a chance Mannion goes unless some club offers us a big fee he was always meant to come here to be a no.2. AMB will definitely be on his way out whether that’s on a permanent or a loan will depend on what offers are on the table for him.

Don't know much about the keeper but should we not be worried that he's been there for two seasons and faced back to back relegations? 😂😂

It tells me he's had lots of practice over the last two seasons; Pickford let in plenty for Sunderland but still got a transfer to Everton 8 years ago.

It will be good to have two keepers vying for the Jersey IF Thomas Kaminski signs 🙌🏻

    Very happy with Kaminski.
An experienced keeper with pedigree. £2.5m two years ago and at 32-33 is a good age for a keeper.

Anyone thinking that if we sign this Luton keeper then we wouldn’t need either AMB or Mannion, or that they wouldn’t be getting much game time is delusional. 3 keepers competing for game time is a minimum, not a luxury. AMB and Mannion will benefit from the extra competition from a more experienced keeper and inevitable injuries, more bookings leading to suspensions and tougher opponents this coming season will mean they’ll all frequently get game time to grab the starting place at some time or other and the opportunity to try and hold on to it for a while.

more hope then expectation, but i'd like to see 3-4 out, and 7-8 in. i think realistically we need a squad of 24/25 this year with a few academy players supporting. I'd like to see Gas go, 1 goalie, probably AMB. one of the Mitchells i can imagine going out, i think Nathan Asiimwe can play a part this season as a back up to a new RWB and believe Kaheim Dixon to a League one team on loan would make a lot of sense.
