I'd never heard of McCartney Kessler.  I guess she'll now Get Back to the American hard courts where she belongs.

Bublik, who looked like being Draper's nightmare third round opponent, has been beaten in 5 sets by Jaume Munar.

Draper still has to get through two matches first, of course...

And with that, Draper is underway on No. 1 court.

It seems odd that Britain's best player, the fourth seed and many people's tip to go a long, long way in this tournament is just two sets away from equalling his best-ever Wimbledon, and it's only the first Tuesday.

Pennington Jones match is tight and we'll balanced.

He won first set in a tie break. Both players had multiple set points

This Argentinian fella Etcheverry that Jack Pinnington-Jones is playing at the moment is one of those arseholes that screams like a fucking orgasming gorilla everytime he hits the ball.
    Pack it in you prick.

Gauff out in straight sets - completely off her game. Her serving was shocking.

I was watching the Dan Evans game earlier and everytime he hit the ball he shouted allez. Surely you shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Boulter, Raducanu and Kartal all playing players ranked lower then them I think

Raducanu had the easier first round but has the hardest second round. I'm surprised Vondrusova is only ranked 73 - I feel she will be a harder opponent than that after she stormed though in Berlin with come major scalps - must have been out for a while if only 73 after winning there

That said, the in-form Joint who won Eastbourne lost in R1

Disappointing that only three British women got through R1 and one of those Radacanu beat another Brit. The wildcards didn't really step up.

Tarvet, Fery and Pinnington-Jones defied their lowly rankings to get to R2 of the men's.

According to the live rankings, Boulter is back up to 38, Raducanu 45 and Kartal 53.

Maybe because Boulter has no points to defend from Wimbledon last year?

Vondrousova only 64 after winning Berlin

Boulter knocked out in 2nd round last year - Raducanu reached the 4th and Kartal the 3rd.
