  • I must be in a minority who think it’s a hideous kit - plenty of better ones they could’ve picked

purple and green = no thanks
Not a minority mate its a love or hate kit

Supposedly the club shop sold alll 400 of the 91/92 retro home shirts in minutes

    These will go as quick

The club shop will do very well on these items. You only had to see at Wycombe away in the play offs how many people were wearing retro tops from that red robins account on twitter to know there is a take up for these shirts

That also goes for the bucket hats from the museum

    But why just 400?

I understand that they have to be fair to the current kit supplier, but it seems bizarre to make these retro kits limited edition items.

Test the waters with a limited run, sell them out and reorder and you have guaranteed demand

Just donate it to a suitable museum
  • Does anyone that bought the Osca kit know if it faithful to the original in terms of materials? Much prefer the older kits as generally the fabric is much thicker and durable. The newer kits are so thin.

Has anyone found it on the site yet…gone 11 & it doesn’t seem to be on there yet…🤔

    or sold out already
  • Not appeared as far as I can tell.
  • I’ve been told that the new retro kit has died and gone back to its home planet. Very sad 😢

No idea about the materials, but if youre super fussy about accuracy I think the v-neck is slightly off from the originals. The material that makes the v-neck is wider/larger on the originals and the two segments wrap over each other. These replicas may have been based on later runs of the shirt that might have had smaller v-necks, but we would need the museum to confirm that.

  • Got one from club shop, only about 5 people waiting outside so piece of piss to get one.

Did here one of the staff on the phone in there’s saying was a slight delay getting them on the site but should be up by 10 past

Would love to see the yellow/blue 99/00 away kit but completely understand with Le Coq still being in business that might not be one that's doable.
Agree , but it might just be me , these retro kits look crap without the makers badge ( can fully understand business not allowing it )
  • Medium already sold out online ffs. If anyone is going into the store and they see a medium I’d appreciate it! Full price plus postage plus extra for a couple of pints to say thanks.

  • Just popped to the club shop, all sold out.

Haven't had the new one in hand but think it's highly unlikely they'd use thicker material.
  • Yeah you'd have thought the massive Reebok logo on the front would have been enough branding.

That very large Reebok logo on the back spoils it
It's for the tv audiences I expect
  • Also helpful for those whose eyes have gone.
