    Fullah looks a real player.

A slightly flattering scoreline but a decent workout and our penchant for late goals continues.
Not sure if it was a "flattering" scoreline, we didn't have many chances, and its still only Pre-Season.

But was disappointed with how a Croatian top tier side, acted like Dartford against us, by sitting back, especially in the first half, and certainly because they've played a game more than us so far.

They came out and attacked us more in the second half, and naturally created more openings for us to exploit going forward.

Very good workout .. second half much more fluent going forward but it did leave us more open to the break .. Bell , Mitchell Costello AMB and Fuller highlights of the second half… … Jones will happy , Expect we will see Burke , Godden and Berry on Tuesday … …

FC Gorky Park played with a little bit of an edge for a preseason game.  As long as no one gets injured, I don’t mind that to get the squad ready for a physical season

Decent test that. Fullah looks very promising. Apter looks good too. Thought Carey was neat and tidy.
Doesn’t mean much but more minutes.

Well, early days but Fullah has done himself no harm there, see how he goes but if we don't loan him out the reason could be that we consider him good enough for the matchday squads, just maybe.

Would be nice to see the players and staff get a bit loose tonight and Dixon singing sweet Caroline on karaoke

Given our subs bench capacity will increase from 7 to 9, I’d say Fullah have a very good chance of being in the 20 regularly if he keeps going the way he is.

Best creative player on the pitch is Pozo

He's Spanish so no surprise that Iker Pozo has some talent on the ball. Even though CAFC have managed to get a Spanish player who struggled !

Carey looks like a tidy midfielder but upon initial impressions he doesn’t look like that creative midfielder who is going to generate a lot of opportunities.  There is still a need to add there.  I see Carey and JRC competing for the more box to box midfield role or as a valuable reserve.

We also need another Striker as there is a lack of cutting edge in the final third.

I feel pretty comfortable that defense is good enough as is

The most important thing today, are there any injuries?

Don’t think they are much more than 60% of the fitness levels they will be at come game one. They are only 2 weeks into training and have a long way to go, but no injuries and most players getting minutes is good from where I was sat (by a pool in Dubrovnik).

Would assume Fullah is at least a 3 year deal.

I didn't see the match but this all sounds a tad OTT for Fullah with the first fitness match against a Croatian team who are decent but matches of 45 minutes are for players to get minutes into their legs.
It's still a positive as there are 20 match day positions up for grab which is a new situation for Charlton.
We know there will be several 21's and under in the match day squad as that still appears to be the DNA of Charlton Athletic.
I'm looking forward to the competition once the squad are up to speed and we are in the last couple of friendlies.

    No obvious injuries today ?

You learn as much about fans as you do about players from pre-season games.

I thought in the first half that one of our better players was Docherty, being basically his usual self.
Docherty is always Docherty and plays like Docherty does. I don't see that changing, and I think managers like players where they know what you'll always get.

From what I read on here he had a great 45 mins against Dartford last week. Looking forward to seeing him in action this season.

We know what we’re getting with Ahadme too.  Doc deserves a crack but I don’t think he will keep his place this year
