My favorite was two blokes ordered the same meal, one turned up much smaller than the other, he complained and the waiter picked up the plate and told him, you fcuk off, you no eat here again 🤣
Loved eating there!0 -

I love kippers for breakfast.Chicken Chassuer. I love it. No one else does.Cheese and potato pie. My favourite dinner in the world. Death row meal. I get it about twice a year and it still ain’t as good as my dad’s.I could go on. A house full of yo yo dieting women. Who seem to think that eating spaghetti fucking bolognese twice a week is ok. That or bastard chicken fajitas.I feel better now. Thanks.Happy birthday to your mum. Enjoy every minute with her.
Sadly she's not so good but she's a tough old lady.
Yes we had it in the 70s (must have been a thing) I often had it with a fried egg on top. After I left home she used to make me individual tin foil packages to take home & stick in the oven. Blimey I'm going to have to have a go myself now0 -

Used to love a Spanish favourite Chorichos en Manteca, spicy salami sausage islands surrounded by congealed paprika butter. Used to be brought over from Spain by my aunt in bright yellow and red cans. Tried some a while back, could barely keep it down- which is just as well with the cholesterol count.
Other Spanish favourites Churros y Chocolate and Boquerones (fresh fried Anchovies).0 -
Tips
On cooking the best steak (haven't had one for a while to be fair)
KISS - "keep it simple, stupid"
Medium rare is probably the best option. Rare is too chewy.
Only season with salt & pepper. Tomato ketchup is the safest sauce.
Highest heat on the hob
Keep turning it...maybe put additional olive oil or butter on the surface of it.
Hear the sizzling sound. Roughly 8 minutes later....let it cool down for 5 minutes....and then ready to eat.
This is ground breaking stuff dave. I know it is dave. I should be a chef0 -
Rissoles and Tapioca and Jam Rolly Polly ( not together ) . Haven’t had them since primary school dinners but used to love all three .0
